20140061389 | AIRCRAFT THROTTLE CONTROL DEVICE INCLUDING A CAM COUPLING - An aeroengine control device including a mount and having pivotally mounted thereon a code wheel together with a main lever and a secondary lever, both for turning the code wheel. Each lever is movable between a rest position and a maximum actuation position. The secondary lever is mounted to pivot on the main lever. Cam paths are mounted on the code wheel and on the mount in such a manner that the main lever can move the code wheel when the main lever is moved while the secondary lever is in the rest position. The secondary lever can move the code wheel when the secondary lever is moved while the main lever is in the rest position, with movement of either lever being prevented when the other lever is clearly away from its rest position. | 03-06-2014 |
20140190304 | AIRCRAFT THROTTLE CONTROL DEVICE INCLUDING AN ENGAGING ROLLER COUPLING - An aeroengine control device comprising a mount, having pivotally mounted thereon a code wheel together with a main lever and a secondary lever, both for turning the code wheel, each lever being movable between a rest position and a maximum actuation position, the secondary lever being mounted to pivot on the main lever. A connecting rod connects the secondary lever in permanent manner to the code wheel and the main lever is provided with a connection member arranged to co-operate with a portion in relief secured to the code wheel and with a portion in relief secured to the mount in such a manner that the connection member attaches to the code wheel when the main lever is moved while the secondary lever is in its rest position and attaches to the mount, thereby releasing the code wheel to turn, when the secondary lever is moved while the main lever is in its rest position, while movement of either lever is prevented when the other lever is away from its rest position. | 07-10-2014 |

20140055011 | Housing for Holding a Flat Screen - A housing is provided for holding a flat screen, having a frame which defines a housing interior for holding the flat screen. The frame is produced from a flat profile element which has multiple set bending points which serve to establish the corner regions of the frame. On its inside, the frame has an inner channel into which a heat-dissipating element is inserted in such a way that it serves to transmit heat from the housing interior to the frame. | 02-27-2014 |

20080308735 | Diagnosis of Whiplash Associated Disorders (Wad) By Using Pet With D-[Methyl-11C]-Deprenyl (Dde) - Positron Emission Tomography (PET) tracers such as D-[methyl- | 12-18-2008 |
20090074279 | METHOD AND SYSTEM OF MULTIVARIATE ANALYSIS ON SLICE-WISE DATA OF REFERENCE STRUCTURE NORMALIZED IMAGES FOR IMPROVED QUALITY IN POSITRON EMISSION TOMOGRAPHY STUDIES - A method and system are provided for improving the quality in positron emission tomography (PET) images. Image quality may be improved by pre-normalizing dynamic PET images and then applying a multivariate analysis tool on the images to generate improved quality dynamic PET images. The dynamic PET images are the images reconstructed from the raw dynamic PET data in the image domain of the PET study. A first normalization method is a data treatment (also referred to as noise pre-normalization) for the negative values that may result from the image reconstruction and/or from random variations in detector readings. A second normalization method is background noise pre-normalization where background pixel values are masked. A third normalization method is kinetic pre-normalization where the contrast is improved to allow greater visualization of the activity in the image. Multivariate analysis such as PCA may then be applied to each slice of the dynamic PET images. | 03-19-2009 |
20100135556 | METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OUTLINING A REGION IN POSITRON EMISSION TOMOGRAPHY STUDIES - In a method and system for outlining a region of interest in a Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scan study, a processor may, based on application of Masked Volume Wise Principal Component Analysis (MVW-PCA) to a plurality of scan images, generate a PC2 image showing kinetic behavior of a particular part of a subject, in particular, the grey matter of the cerebellar cortex of the subject, and may outline, in the PC2 image, a region of the PC2 image having highest pixel intensity values of the PC2 image or of a portion thereof as a region of interest, and, in particular, as a reference region. The processor may generate a PC3 image showing kinetic behavior of a different part of the subject, in particular, blood vessels of the subject, import the outline into the PC3 image to determine the correctness of the outline, and modify the outline if it is incorrect. | 06-03-2010 |
20110293518 | DIAGNOSIS OF WHIPLASH ASSOCIATED DISORDERS (WAD) BY USING PET WITH D-[METHYL-11C]-DEPRENYL (DDE) - Positron Emission Tomography (PET) tracers such as D-[methyl- | 12-01-2011 |

20140232563 | VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION - Magnetometers under the road surface detect variations in the vertical and longitudinal horizontal components of the magnetic field over time in response to passing vehicles. A trajectory of these components in the phase space of these field components is regularized to obtain a magnetic signature. Magnetic signatures are compared using cross-correlation over arc length to identify vehicles. Inductance sensors can be used to detect vehicles and help determine the beginning and end of magnetic signatures. | 08-21-2014 |
