20080287947RF intervertebral electrosurgical probe - An electrosurgical instrument for spinal procedures comprises an elongated tubular member configured to fit within and be extended down a standard sized cannula. The instrument comprises a proximal end including a handle for the surgeon and supplied with fittings for connection to a source of irrigation fluid and a source of suction. The distal end of the instrument has an active end comprising a slightly-flexible curved wire electrode that extends in the plane of the tubular member. Beyond the wire electrode is an exit port for irrigation fluid, and in front of the electrode is a receiving port for suction. The wire electrode is thus flanked in front by the exiting irrigation fluid and behind by the suction, with the result that fluid flow is drawn by the suction across the wire electrode creating pressure forces that direct removed tissue to the suction entrance and its removal from the surgical site.11-20-2008
20080294160RF endoscopic electrosurgical instrument - A unipolar electrosurgical electrode or probe that is configured for use in MIS electrosurgical procedures. The electrosurgical electrode comprises an elongated tubular member configured to cooperate with the small cannula of a mini-endoscope to reach interior tissue. The active end comprises a pair of jaws that can be normally closed and operative by the surgeon to open and close down on and grasp tissue to excise same. When energized, a unipolar discharge is generated at the working end of the electrode.11-27-2008
20090062786Tri-frequency electrosurgical instrument - An electrosurgical instrument that is capable of generating high-quality RF energy carriers at one of three different frequencies and combining any of the three carriers with any one of four electrosurgical mode waveform modulations and selectively supplying the modulated carriers to either a monopolar or a bipolar handpiece. In a preferred embodiment, the first carrier frequency is in the range of about 3.8-4.0 MHz, the second carrier frequency is in the range of about 1.7-2.0 MHz, and the third carrier frequency is in the range of about 400-600 KHz.03-05-2009
20100023006RF intervertebral disc surgical system - A spinal surgical system comprising a plurality of surgical components for cooperating with a electrosurgical handpiece comprising an elongated tubular member housing an electrode, with the tubular member configured to fit within and be extended down a standard sized cannula in a MIS procedure. The system components comprise one or more cannulas, straight or beveled; one or more guide wires, with and without pointed ends for piercing tissue; a tapered dilator; a trephine; and one or more depth control stops for mounting on the cannula for monitoring its depth. The system is especially useful for performing a discectomy.01-28-2010
20100042096MIS electrosurgical handpiece - An electrosurgical handpiece comprising a squeezable handle connected to extend and retract bipolar electrodes from a rigid tubular member. The bipolar electrodes comprise active separable distal ends and connecting links configured such that when the handle is unsqueezed, the active distal ends protrude from the distal end of the first tubular member and are adjacent one another, and when the handle is fully squeezed, the active distal ends are fully extended outwardly from the first tubular member and separate, and when the handle is relaxed but still partially squeezed, the active distal ends come together and touch first at their extreme ends and then touch over a broader area in a position to grasp tissue for receiving electrosurgical currents.02-18-2010
20110054462Electrosurgical instrument with multi-function handpiece - An electrosurgical instrument with which a single handpiece can be connected that can be used for cutting and for coagulation without touching the instrument after the front panel settings have been made. The handpiece, of the extendable electrode type, comprises essentially two cables one terminating in a male connector configured to mate to the bipolar output connector of the electrosurgical unit, and a second terminating in a male connector configured to mate with the monopolar output connector of the electrosurgical unit. The output connectors can be selectively activated.03-03-2011

20090069802ELECTROSURGICAL ELECTRODE AND METHOD FOR USE - An electrosurgical electrode for use in a surgical procedure includes an elongated body in the shape of a Freer elevator having a working end portion in the shape of a spoon at a distal end thereof. The working end portion is an active electrosurgical end capable of supplying electrosurgical currents when the electrode is operatively connected to an electrosurgical apparatus and the later is activated. An opposite proximal end of the body includes a means, such as a connector, for operatively connecting the electrode to the electrosurgical apparatus for supplying the electrosurgical currents to the working end portion.03-12-2009

20110283574LICENSE PLATE ADD ON AND FRAME SURROUND - A semi-permanent replaceable license plate add on and frame surround includes a frame composed of rigid or semi-rigid material that is weatherproof, temperature and ultraviolet resistant. It is structured and sized to cover substantially a perimeter of a license plate without substantially covering identifying indicia, and devoid of any structural or supportive properties for the license plate, itself. The surround includes a plurality of attachment devices secured to the frame with permanent or semi-permanent adhesive, structured to removeably attach the frame directly to the license plate or plate surround. The surround further includes a plurality of corresponding attachment devices for securing to the license plate or the plate surround and structured to attach the frame directly to the license plate or the existing plate surround by aligning and press fitting to the plurality of attachment devices. The corresponding attachment devices are removeably attachable to the plurality of attachment devices.11-24-2011

20100075602SYSTEM AND METHOD OF FACILITATING THE DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION BY MEANS OF ACTIVE ADVERTISEMENTS IN PORTABLE INFORMATION TRANSCEIVERS - A system and method to provide a user with a requisite receiving device, such as cell phone, with the ability to record contact information, from an interactive advertisement for storage and later use, or, at the user's option, to obtain the information at his or her convenience even at the location of the advertisement. The invention can work accurately in any environment, including those regions where there might be heavy traffic or congestion, and a plurality of interaction signs or posters can readily interface with the recipient's device. However, an important feature of the present invention is that the user can choose to only accept that contact information that is of interest to him or her, and does not have to automatically record and/or interact with any transmitter just because it is in the sphere of influence of the receiving device.03-25-2010
