20090017994Universal exercise machine - The present invention is an exercise device of the rowing machine type, which may impose both flexion and extension forces against motion of a user with respect to the seat and/or arms of the exercise device. Rotation of the seat about a pitch axis may be provided to allow a user to impose forces against the seat pan more comfortably in opposition to seat travel flexion resistance, while rotationally free grips may allow the user to maintain proper orientation of the hands and wrists during exercise using the exercise device. Other improvements are discussed in the detailed description of the invention above.01-15-2009

20090318019ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR FOR TERMINATING A COAXIAL CABLE - An electrical connector is provided for terminating a coaxial cable. The electrical connector includes an electrically conductive housing extending a length between a cable-receiving end portion configured to engage an insulating cover of the coaxial cable and a mating end portion configured to engage another electrical connector. The housing includes an outer electrical contact. An insulating member is held by the housing. An inner electrical contact is held by the insulating member. The inner electrical contact includes a slot configured to receive an inner electrical conductor of the coaxial cable.12-24-2009
20090318020ADAPTER FOR A COAXIAL CABLE CONNECTOR - An adapter is provided for mating first and second coaxial cable connectors having first and second receptacle contacts, respectively. The adapter includes an inner electrical contact extending between opposite first and second plug contact end portions. The first plug contact end portion is configured to be received within the first receptacle contact of the first coaxial cable connector. The second plug contact end portion is configured to be received within the second receptacle contact of the second coaxial cable connector. The adapter also includes an outer electrical contact defining a receptacle. The outer electrical contact is configured to hold the inner electrical contact within the receptacle.12-24-2009
20090318021ULTRAMINIATURE COAX CONNECTOR - An ultraminiature coax connector (UMCC) is provided for terminating a coaxial cable. The UMCC includes an electrically conductive housing extending between a cable-receiving end portion and a mating end portion. The cable-receiving end portion being is configured to engage an insulating cover of the coaxial cable. The mating end portion is configured to engage another UMCC. The housing includes an outer electrical contact at the mating end portion. The outer electrical contact includes an outer diameter in the range of approximately one millimeter to approximately four millimeters or an inner diameter in the range of approximately one millimeter to approximately four millimeters. An insulating member is by the housing. An inner electrical contact is held by the insulating member. The inner electrical contact includes a plug contact portion that is configured to be received by a receptacle contact portion of the other UMCC.12-24-2009
20100099301CONNECTOR HAVING A SHIELD ELECTRICALLY COUPLED TO A CABLE SHIELD - A connector assembly includes a cable, a connector and a resistance weld. The cable includes a conductor and a cable shield. The connector includes a contact and a shield. The shield includes conductive walls and a cradle. The walls extend from a mating interface to the cradle and at least partially surround the contact to shield the contact from electromagnetic interference. The mating interface is configured to receive a mating connector to mate the connector and mating connector. The cradle includes sidewalls interconnected by a coupling wall. The sidewalls and coupling wall extend from a loading interface toward the mating interface and are shaped to receive the cable through the loading interface. The resistance weld is between the cable shield and the cradle to electrically couple the shield to the cable shield. The shield is electrically connected to the electrical ground by the resistance weld and the cable shield.04-22-2010

20100264672Double draw bar spring mechanism - A double slide arm spring mechanism for biasing a primary mechanism to home position after operation and retaining the primary mechanism in the home position pending further operation. The double slide arm spring mechanism includes a pair of slideably interlocking arms each having a longitudinal frame member and a spring engaging flange at each end. The frame members are a disposed to engage one another while permitting relative sliding of the arms. The slide arms are interlocked such that one flange of each arm is situated between the two flanges of the other arm. Two compression springs are retained between the flanges of the arms such that sliding of either arm toward the other necessarily compresses both springs. Potential energy stored in the springs returns the slide to its neutral position when the operator is released thereby also returning the operator to its neutral position. The slide arms produce twice as much force to return operator to it neutral position as would be possible using springs of the same length operated independently.10-21-2010

20080216533LOCK CYLINDER - A lock cylinder includes a cylinder housing having a plurality of upper pin chambers and a plug disposed for rotation in the cylinder housing. The plug includes at least one truncated pin chamber and a recess extending circumferentially from the opposite sides of the truncated pin chamber. The lock cylinder further includes a slider disposed in the recess, wherein the slider includes an aperture that cooperates with an upper pin chamber and the truncated pin chamber to define a generally continuous pin chamber. The plug is disposed in the cylinder housing for rotation along a first shear interface between a locked position and an unlocked position. The slider is disposed in the recess for circumferential movement and forms a portion of the first interface. The slider cooperates with the plug to define a second shear interface, with the plug moving relative to the slider along the second shear interface between the locked position and an interference position. The interference position is intermediate the locked position and the unlocked position.09-11-2008
