20120154751 | Visual perimeter measurement system and method - In one example of the invention a patient display is provided on which a fixation graphic or video is shown in substantially the centre of the display, and then target graphics or video are shown at different positions on the display about the centre. A test subject is positioned in front of the patient display a known distance therefrom, and a camera captures an image of the test subject's eyes, to allow gaze direction determination to be performed. The captured images are displayed to a clinician user by a controlling test application, the clinician making a determination based on the images as to whether the test subject saw a target graphic or video when it was displayed. The clinician user then makes an appropriate input into the controlling test application, which also logs the position at which the target image was displayed. By displaying target graphics at multiple locations on the screen and logging the clinician inputs, the controlling test application is able to build up a plot of the peripheral vision field of the test subject. This plot can then be graphically displayed to the clinician user, and stored with the test results for future clinical use. | 06-21-2012 |

20150364750 | CARBON NANOTUBE-METAL NANOCOMPOSITES AS FLEXIBLE, FREE STANDING, BINDER FREE HIGH PERFORMANCE ANODE FOR LI ION BATTERY - The present invention relates to carbon nanotubes-metal nano composite by chemical route and the corresponding development of strong and flexible, light weight, self-supporting anode through simple vacuum filtration technique, which is favored by the high aspect ratio of the Multi-walled carbon nanotubes. The self-supported anode has an added advantage that it can be used as electrodes without binder and electrical conductor (unlike other carbonaceous powder materials) that helps us to elucidate the precise electrochemical properties. The metals used can be Sn, Si, Al, etc. The developed high capacity, free-standing anode can be used in rechargeable Li-ion batteries and is demonstrated successfully in powering solar lantern. | 12-17-2015 |

20110093289 | MEDICARE PHARMACY CALCULATOR II - A method and apparatus for providing a Medicare Part D Pharmacy Benefits Calculator. A computer user inputs data for prescriptions to be purchased by a prospective insured for a plan period. The prescription data includes a quantity, a days supply, and a number of fills. The data for each prescription the user enters is used to calculate anticipated out-of-pocket costs for the prescriptions for one or more pharmacy benefits plans available to the prospective insured. The cost data is presented to the user in a way that illustrates how out-of-pocket costs will vary over the course of a plan period. The user may view costs for alternative drugs and alternatives sources of drugs. The user may vary and expand the presentation of the cost data to better understand the available plan benefits. The invention helps prospective insureds decide among alternative Medicare Part D pharmacy benefits plans offered by one or more insurance companies. | 04-21-2011 |
