20110312032VECTORS AND YEAST STRAINS FOR PROTEIN PRODUCTION - Lower eukaryote host cells in which the function of at least one endogenous gene encoding a chaperone protein, such as a Protein Disulphide Isomerase (PDI), has been reduced or eliminated and at least one mammalian homolog of the chaperone protein is expressed are described. In particular aspects, the host cells further include a deletion or disruption of one or more O-protein mannosyltransferase genes, and/or overexpression of an endogenous or exogenous Ca212-22-2011
20110312054Isolation and Characterization of Schizochytrium Aggregatum Cellobiohydrolase I (CBH I) - The present invention provides for the isolation and characterization of the cbh1 gene from 12-22-2011

20100047738Device for Forming a Bone Bed for Dental Implants - A device for forming a bone bed for dental implants having a head composed of crystal of partially stabilized zirconium dioxide with a nanostructure having a crystallographic axis that coincides with the axis of the bone bed forming device. The head has cutting elements formed as a rotatable plate. The plate has two broad facets formed by circular arcs that are convex relative to the axis of bone bed forming device. Transition from one of the convex circular arc to another convex circular arc is smoothed by circular arcs that are concave relative to the axis of bone bed forming device. Grooves form first and second cutting members with narrow facets of the plate. The head has an end part shaped as a truncated sphere possessing a recess formed by two planes arranged at an angle of 90° relative to each other and passing through the truncated sphere center and two points belonging to two diagonally arranged plate ribs. A third cutting member is formed by the intersection of one of the above mentioned two planes and a spherical surface of one of the narrow plate facets of the end part of the head.02-25-2010
20110105295Zirconium dioxide-based material - The invention relates to the field of synthetic materials and is industrially applicable in the manufacture of wear-resistant construction parts for use under conditions of elevated temperatures, loads, and aggressive media, for cutting and machining tools, and in medical equipment. The technical problem of optimization of the performance parameters of the material, including crack resistance, hardness, and wear resistance, is solved. The objective is achieved by the fact that a material based on zirconium dioxide, containing yttrium and obtained by directed crystallization from batch mixture melted in a cold container, contains at least two tetragonal phases whose axes of tetragonality are 80-90°. The components of the batch mixture for obtaining the material are contained in the following ratio (in mol %): yttrium oxide, 2.8-3.7; zirconium dioxide, the remainder. To obtain the material, a thermal insulating layer 05-05-2011
