20110120155Room Air Conditioner And/Or Heater - A room air conditioner and/or heat pump is shown having a compressor, indoor coil, accumulator, expansion device and reversing valve for changing between a cooling cycle and a heating cycle. Intake louvers direct return air over the entire indoor coil for maximum heat transfer. Discharge louvers are curved upward to prevent short cycling while still being totally adjustable, up and down, right and left. Adjustment posts are anchored to a clip and are adjustable for right or left discharge of air and up or down discharge. Single handles control both the right or left discharge through a rear set of louvers and up or down discharge through a front set of louvers. A no circulation area prevents short cycling and curved edges prevent turbulence in air flow through louvers.05-26-2011
20110120167Room Air Conditioner And/Or Heat Pump - A room air conditioner and/or heat pump is shown with a main control and a user interface. The user interface is mounted on a user interface mount attached to the front of a main unit, but behind the bezel. The user interface mount is used to (a) insert or remove the main unit, (b) secure and protect wiring cables, (c) mount the user interface thereon, (d) direct a filter into position, (e) provide a slot for a fresh air slide, and (f) direct a bezel into position. A main control housing allows access there through to a main control circuit board, but prevents moisture from dripping on the main control circuit board. A dual filter element is located behind a double hinged door. Channels and flanges direct and secure the bezel into position.05-26-2011
20110125328Control System for a Room Air Conditioner and/or Heat Pump - A universal control system is provided for a room air conditioner or heat pump that has a number of sensor inputs. An electronic control system with a microcontroller and microcomputer are used to provide a large number of operations that can be performed by (1) manufacturer, (2) end users and (3) maintenance personnel. The manufacturer can load different versions of a software program to match the unit. The end user can program in a large number of different conditions or schedules the end user finds desirable, plus the end user is advised of maintenance requirements or faults. The maintenance personnel may perform diagnostics, determine fault history, upload improved or replacement software, as well as the numerous maintenance functions normally performed by maintenance personnel.05-26-2011

20100264568SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FORMING CERAMIC PRECURSOR MATERIAL FOR THIN-WALLED CERAMIC HONEYCOMB STRUCTURES - A method for forming a ceramic precursor material for use in extruding ceramic honeycomb green bodies is provided. First, a plurality of dry particulate ceramic precursor ingredients are mixed to achieve an initial particulate precursor mixture. This mixture includes a percentage of particles and agglomerates with the agglomerates exhibiting a size greater than the threshold size. Following mixing, the agglomerates in the initial particulate mixture are pulverized to reduce a maximum size of at least some of the agglomerates below the threshold size to form pulverized agglomerates. Finally, a portion of the ceramic precursor ingredients are separated from the initial mixture with that portion comprising at least some of the pulverized agglomerates and at least some of the particles. The method is particularly adapted for use in the fabrication of ceramic honeycomb green bodies having thin webs between 2 and 5 mils in thickness.10-21-2010
