20090033141POWERED MOTOR VEHICLE REAR AXLE OF A TWIST-BEAM AXLE TYPE - A powered motor vehicle rear axle is provided can be coupled with a motor vehicle drive train. The rear axle is configured as twist-beam rear axle with two wheel carrying resistant trailing arms that are elastically linked to the motor vehicle structure and a bending resistant, but torsion flexible cross member. Here each trailing arm swings around at least one swivel axle. In the area of its both ends the cross member is welded to the trailing arms 02-05-2009

20100052281TWIST-BEAM REAR AXLE COMPRISING AN ADDITIONAL WATT LINKAGE - A suspension is provided for non-steered wheels on a motor vehicle body. The suspension includes, but is not limited to a twist-beam rear axle with a Watt linkage. A top rocker arm of the Watt linkage is mounted on the motor vehicle body. The Watt linkage prevents the motor vehicle from oversteering during cornering. The damping bushes can be disconnected in part from wheel-guiding functions as the Watt linkage performs a major part of the wheel guiding functions, which leaves some freedom for designing the characteristics so as to significantly increase motoring comfort.03-04-2010
20110031712REAR AXLE OF TYPE TWIST BEAM AXLE FOR MOTOR VEHICLE - A twist beam axle is provided for a motor vehicle, with two rigid trailing arms for the mounting of wheel carriers, each of which can be articulated on a vehicle body through a bearing bush. The trailing arms are connected with each other through a flexurally rigid, but at least in sections, torsionally elastic, antiroll bar and through a Watt's linkage. In the twist beam axle, center axes of the bearing bushes are each arranged parallel to the vehicle vertical axis. In addition, the invention extends to a motor vehicle equipped with such a rear axle.02-10-2011
20110084547FRICTION-WELDED COMPOUND LINK - Introduced is a compound crank axle having a flexurally stiff and torsionally soft cross member, on whose ends two trailing links are arranged. The respective ends of the cross member are joined with the trailing links through friction welding in an angularly stiff manner. Here, the trailing links joined with the cross member are held together at a common transition region which is created in that both trailing links are joined together simultaneously and evenly with the cross member in a materially connected manner through friction welding.04-14-2011
20110127744DAMPING BUSHING FOR TORSION-BEAM REAR AXLE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE - A damping bushing is provided for an axle bearing of a trailing arm of a torsion-beam rear axle for a motor vehicle, in particular for an automobile, which includes, but is not limited to a bushing outer sleeve, a bushing inner sleeve, and a damping body. The interposed damping body is disposed coaxially to the bushing outer sleeve and to the bushing inner sleeve between these two elements. The bushing inner sleeve forms a radially outwardly extending spherical surface and the damping bushing has at least one further element that abuts extensively against the spherical surface formed by the bushing inner sleeve. Furthermore, a torsion-beam axle is provided that is fitted with these bushings.06-02-2011

20090145734Electrical Switch Element, Particularly A Relay, With Swivelling Lever Switch Mechanism - An electrical switch element, particularly a relay, is provided with an actuator with a switch contact and a switch mechanism. The switch mechanism translates a driving movement of the actuator into a switching movement of the switch contact so that the switch contact is brought into and out of contact with a mating contact. In order to create a switching movement with a large lift in the case of an actuator which can only execute a driving movement with small lift, the switch mechanism has two swivelling levers connected to each other via the actuator and at least one contact retainer. The contact retainer connects the two swivelling levers in its longitudinal direction with a lever arm larger than the actuator and is configured so it can be deflected transverse to its longitudinal direction.06-11-2009

20100307877ACTIVE VIBRATION-EXTINGUISHER CONTAINING MAGNETO- OR ELECTRORHEOLOGICAL FLUIDS, METHOD FOR REDUCING VIBRATIONS AND USES THEREOF - Present invention relates to a device for reducing vibrations of a vibrating object as well as a method for reducing vibrations, wherein the perturbing vibrations are reduced drastically by induction of counter-forces. In general, vibrations of equal frequency (counter-vibration) as the perturbing vibration are generated. The force generated by the counter-vibration acts onto the vibrating object, whose amplitude of vibration is to be reduced. The phasing of the counter-vibration is antipodal to the vibration to be reduced, preferably the force of the generated counter-vibration is greater than the force being necessary for compensation of the perturbing vibration. The transfer of the force of the counter-vibration onto the vibrating object is affected by means of a magnetorheological or electrorheological material, whereby the absolute value of the transmitted force is adjusted by the magnitude of an applied magnetical or electric field. With increasing strength of the magnetical or electric field, the magnetorheological or electrorheological material is stiffened increasingly. With optimal adjustments of the strength of the electric or magnetic field, the transmitted force equals the perturbing force and the perturbing vibration is compensated.12-09-2010
20110113845MAGNETORHEOLOGICAL LUBRICANT FOR METAL FORMING PROCESSES - A forming method includes using at least one forming tool to form a material of a workpiece and using a lubricant between the material and the at least one forming tool. The lubricant has a viscosity that is modifiable by applying or varying a field.05-19-2011
