20120035961HEALTHCARE INFORMATION SYSTEM WITH CLINICAL INFORMATION EXCHANGE - A system for distributed computing in a health care environment includes at least one clinical exchange server programmed to maintain a separate patient record for each patient. Each patient record includes an event registry indicating the application that recorded the event and event summary data. When a query is received including information usable to identify an event in the event registry, the query and the event registry are used to identify the event and an application that recorded the event. A second query is generated that specifies the identified event, and the second query is transmitted to the identified application.02-09-2012

20090216562METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ACCOMMODATING DIVERSE HEALTHCARE RECORD CENTERS - A healthcare portal aggregator collects data from healthcare portals of different institutions to provide patients with a comprehensive view of their healthcare information. The aggregator visually organizes data by datatypes for easy reference while visually linking the data to healthcare institution identifiers to preserve the healthcare institution's connections to their patients.08-27-2009
20090307755SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FACILITATING CROSS ENTERPRISES DATA SHARING IN A HEALTHCARE SETTING - A method of sharing patient information including creating a release authorization containing sufficient information to identify a patient and information authorized for transmission, which is a subset of information stored by an electronic health record (EHR) entity for that patient; the release authorization associated with a patient or a person acting as a proxy for the patient; receiving a request from a recipient entity for information; identifying the subset of information associated with the release authorization to be transmitted from the EHR entity to the recipient entity; and transmitting the subset of information from the EHR entity to the recipient entity.12-10-2009
20100070306Patient Community System With Anonymized Electronic Medical Data - A computerized system allows intercommunication of patients with respect to the treatment of their diseases. This system includes an electronic medical record database providing electronic medical records of a given set of patients as developed by healthcare professionals and linked to an anonymous identifier for each patient and a set of terminal devices accessible to the patients allowing for the electronic exchange of information through a display and data input device. A server system connects the anonymous medical record database and the terminal devices and executes a stored program to: (1) allow an authenticated connection by a given patient to the server system through a terminal device and associate the connection with an anonymous identifier; (2) permit authoring by the given patient of a patient site viewable on a terminal device incorporating medical records from the anonymous medical record database associated with the anonymous identifier; and (3) identify to the given patient other patient sites for other patients having shared medical conditions according to a predetermined clustering of data of the anonymous medical record database.03-18-2010

20090272447Grey Water Diversion Device - The present invention is directed to a grey water diversion system. The diversion system that directs grey water from a fixture, such as a wash basin, sink, bathtub, or shower, to a sewer line or septic tank, to a reservoir, or to another fixture for use. The system consists of a structure inserted in line with the fixture's drain, whether directly affixed to the drain or to a pipe leading from the drain. The diversion device is controlled by the user of the fixture for instantaneous diversion of water to be sent to grey water use or storage or to be sent to a sewer system. The diversion system is meant to be able to be installed using the fixture of the operator's choice. This fixture may be new or the one currently installed. The fixture may be a standard fixture and need not be custom-made or special-ordered for use with the diversion system.11-05-2009

20080277336PERMANENT ACCESS PORT - A method and apparatus for the anaerobic digestion of high-solids waste material. The apparatus includes a closed container having a relatively circular outer wall. The closed container has a first passage having an inlet in which the waste material flows in a first direction, a second passage in which the waste material flows in a second direction, and a divider having an end. The divider separates the first passage from the second passage, such that the waste material flows around the end of the divider when flowing from the first passage to the second passage. An access port is provided in a roof of the closed container with a sleeve extending into the waste material within the container. A conduit is advanced through the sleeve into the closed container for suctioning debris out of the closed container.11-13-2008
20100140169Method and Apparatus for Anaerobic Digestion of Organic Liquid Waste Streams - A system and method for treating high-strength organic liquid waste. Generally, the method includes feeding influent high-strength organic liquid waste including organic molecules to an anaerobic digester, converting at least a portion of the organic molecules in the liquid waste to acids using acid forming bacteria, converting at least a portion of the acids in the liquid waste to methane using methanogenic bacteria, separating the liquid waste after treatment with the methanogenic bacteria into alkaline sludge and effluent, and using the alkaline sludge to adjust the pH of the liquid waste in the anaerobic digester. In the case of acidic high-strength organic liquid wastes, a portion of the acids produced by the acid forming bacteria may be recirculated to the front of the anaerobic digester and combined with influent high-strength organic liquid waste.06-10-2010
20100173391Anaerobic Digester Employing Circular Tank - A method and apparatus for the anaerobic digestion of high-solids waste material. The apparatus includes a closed container having a relatively circular outer wall.
