20100096914ENDLESS ELASTOMERIC TRACK - This invention generally relates to the configuration of the inner surface of a traction band which increases the protection of the embedded reinforcing elements without reducing the flexibility of the band or increasing the generation of heat. The outer surface of the band generally comprises a plurality traction lugs while the inner surface generally comprises a plurality of drive and/or guide lugs. According to the present invention, each group of traction lugs, drive lugs and guide lugs, which are generally laterally aligned, defines generally non-flexible lug areas and each of these lug areas are separated by flexible and generally lug-less hinge areas. The lug areas, on the inner surface thereof, further comprise projections located between the drive lugs and the guide lugs and along the wheel paths defined therebetween04-22-2010

20090107377PERSONAL WATERCRAFT - A personal watercraft is disclosed, having a hull and sub-deck (HSD) assembly with left and right gunnels. A deck is disposed above the sub-deck. The left and right lateral edges of the deck are disposed vertically at least as low as the upper end of the left and right gunnels. The left lateral edge and the left gunnel define a left gap therebetween. The right lateral edge and the right gunnel define a right gap therebetween. A left seal member extends laterally outwardly from the left lateral edge. The left seal member extends into the left gap generally toward the left gunnel. A right seal member extends laterally outwardly from the right lateral edge. The right seal member extends into the right gap generally toward the right gunnel.04-30-2009
20090107378PERSONAL WATERCRAFT SUPENSION ARRANGEMENT - A personal watercraft has a hull and sub-deck (HSD) assembly. The sub-deck defines at least one first opening therein. A deck is disposed above the sub-deck. A suspension member passes through the at least one first opening and is disposed at least in part inside the HSD assembly. The suspension member has a first end pivotally connected to the deck. The suspension member has a second end pivotally connected to the HSD assembly. The suspension member has a fixed length. A suspension element has a first end connected to one of the deck, the HSD assembly, and the suspension member. The suspension element has a second end connected to another one of the deck, the HSD assembly, and the suspension member.04-30-2009
20090107379PERSONAL WATERCRAFT HAVING A SUSPENSION SYSTEM - A personal watercraft has a hull and sub-deck (HSD) assembly. A deck is disposed above the sub-deck. A first suspension member has a first end pivotally connected to the deck and a second end disposed rearwardly and downwardly of the first end pivotally connected to the HSD assembly. A second suspension member, disposed rearwardly of the first suspension member, has a first end pivotally connected to the deck and a second end disposed rearwardly and downwardly of the first end pivotally connected to the HSD assembly. The first and second suspension members each have a fixed length. A suspension element is connected between any two of: the deck, the HSD assembly, and one of the suspension members. The HSD assembly is movable relative to the deck between a first position and a second position that is upward and rearward of the first position. A watercraft suspension geometry is also disclosed.04-30-2009
20090107380PERSONAL WATERCRAFT HAVING AN ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION - A personal watercraft has a hull and sub-deck (HSD) assembly, a deck above the sub-deck, and a suspension member pivotally connected therebetween. A suspension element, including a spring assembly, is connected between any two of the deck, the HSD assembly, and the suspension member. The spring assembly has first and second portions having first and second spring rates respectively. The second spring rate is greater than the first. A controller controls a lifting device to set an initial distance between the deck and the sub-deck to one of a first distance and a second distance greater than the first. The suspension element moves through a majority of a full stroke with the first portion of the spring assembly at least partially expanded when the initial distance is the first distance, and with the first portion of the spring assembly fully compressed when the initial distance is the second distance.04-30-2009

20100064432INFECTION CONTROL LIFTING STRAP - A support member for use in a patient lifting device is described. The support member includes an improved lift strap having an inner core and an outer plastic layer that can be easily and effectively cleaned with standard disinfectant. The lift strap is secured to a patient lifting device with a spool assembly that guides the lift strap and a belt clamp assembly that compresses the lift strap and holds it into place. In the preferred embodiment, the support member is used in an electric ceiling- or floor-mounted patient lifting device. The preferred lifting device is composed of a track component attached to a winch assembly. The winch assembly has an electric motor that raises and lowers the lift strap by means of a spool assembly and belt clamp assembly. The belt clamp assembly attaches to a sling that supports the patient while he or she is displaced.03-18-2010

20110173909MODULAR STONE PANEL - A modular stone panel is disclosed. The panel is adapted to be mounted or fastened to a structural wall to provide a stone wall façade therefor. The panel is generally comprised of a shaped backboard and a plurality of stones solidly fastened on a front face thereof. The backboard is adapted to be fastened to the structural wall such that the front face thereof faces away from the wall to provide the stone wall façade. The stones may comprise natural or synthetic molded stones. The backboard may also be ventilated to provide ventilation to the stones fastened thereto. The panels may be fabricated to provide key-cut edges allowing an interlocking of adjacent panels. A method of fabricating such panels is also disclosed.07-21-2011
