20100175876Method and System Integrating Thermal Oil Recovery And Bitumen Mining For Thermal Efficiency - Thermal oil recovery operations, such as SAGD, result in waste heat that is typically released to the environment. Bitumen mining operations require heat input for heating fluids used in the mining process. A method and system of recovering heat from a thermal recovery operation for use in bitumen mining operation is described. A heated donor fluid from a thermal recovery operation is used to heat an acceptor fluid for use in bitumen mining via proximal heat exchange using a power cycle or heat exchange module, such as an ammonia and water based Kalina® Cycle. By utilizing waste heat from thermal recovery operations to heat fluids used in bitumen mining, thermal efficiencies are realized.07-15-2010

20090242219TRACTOR WITH AUTOMATIC STEERING ARRANGEMENT - A tractor has hydraulically driven wheels at a cab end and castor wheels at an engine end. It can be driven cab forward in a working mode with a header on the forward end. It is rotated to engine forward in the transport position for more stable higher speed travel. The driven wheels are driven by hydraulic motors each having their own drive pump the output of which is controlled by a cam plate. There is provided an automatic steering system having a guidance controller arranged to receive GPS position information and feed back signals and to generate output for controlling a hydraulic control valve for controlling flow in hydraulic fluid for a double acting hydraulic control cylinder arranged to actuate pivotal movement of the steering link member independently of the steering shaft.10-01-2009
20110108333CAB SUSPENSION - A suspension for a cab base on the frame of a swather tractor includes four dampened springs at the four corners with three links each pivoted on one end of the frame and the other end on the base. The links include two parallel links in the fore and aft direction parallel to the mechanical speed control link arm and one side to side link which constrain movement of the base against fore and aft movement and side to side movement parallel to the mechanical steering control link arm. This arrangement restricts movement of the base while allowing roll and pitch movements of the cab structure with the links arranged such that steering and ground speed are substantially unaffected when the cab moves on the suspension.05-12-2011

20080306674Method For Controlling Combustion In An Internal Combustion Engine And Predicting Performance And Emissions - This disclosure teaches a method of controlling a direct injection internal combustion engine and predicting the behavior of a direct injection internal combustion engine. An estimation of initial cylinder pressure, air flow and EGR flow (if applicable) is used to establish a system that provides engine behavior by integrating an injection module, combustion module and engine control module to provide data indicative of engine behavior such as brake torque and power, air flow, EGR flow, cylinder pressure, brake specific fuel consumption, start of combustion, heat release rate, turbo-charger speed and other variables. These values can then be used to adjust commanded variables such as start of injection, commanded pulse width, rail pressure to meet operator demand. Also the output data can be used as a tool to determine how a conceptualized engine design will behave. This is particularly useful for gaseous-fuelled internal combustion engines where cylinder pressure influences behavior of injected gases in light of the fact that rail pressure and cylinder pressure are, generally, of a similar magnitude.12-11-2008

20100185597Method and Apparatus for Optimistic Locking Using SQL Select, Update, Delete, and Insert Statements - A method, computer program product and data processing system for optimistic locking. An integer column is added to a database table. A Structured Query Language statement is constructed and prepared to form a prepared Structured Query Language statement, wherein a result set of the prepared Structured Query Language statement includes the integer column. Any required parameter information is set in the prepared Structured Query Language statement. The prepared Structured Query Language statement is executed in a database transaction. A unique key associated with an element of the result set of the prepared Structured Query Language statement is determined. The row of the database table that the unique key is associated with is determined. A value in the integer column of the determined row is determined. The value in the integer column of the determined row is stored to form a stored value associated with the unique key, wherein the stored value ceases to exist when the database transaction ends.07-22-2010
