20110109040ROULETTE-TYPE GAME WITH MULTIPLE TRACKS - The play of roulette-type game is made more enticing by offering for a single bet a range of payouts from very modest with a high frequency to very great with low frequency. This is achieved without changing the underlying roulette-type game. In a twelve-position roulette, six balls can be used to provide over a 30% chance of getting a match, while the very low probability of getting 3 or more matches provides for generous payouts. Bets can also be placed on patterns of positions of balls.05-12-2011

20080210284PORTABLE STORAGE SHELTER - A portable storage shelter storing, small vehicles and other items has a base, a support structure, and a shell. The base has a first and a second rail, and a first and second cross bar removably attached between said first and second rails. The support structure comprises a plurality of vertical members slidably received within the rails. The vertical members are each contiguous with shell support means and a second one of said vertical members thereby forming a plurality of substantially U-shaped vertical support members. A means is provided for extendably securing each of the U-shaped support members to one another. Means are provided for attaching the shell to the support structure. U-shaped transitional members are slidably, pivotally attachable to the two rails of the base, thereby permitting the pivotal movement of the shell between an open vertically oriented position and a closed horizontal position.09-04-2008

20120017796METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR EXPANDABLE MODULAR RAFT AND A WATER RIDE USING THE SAME - The present invention is related to a method and system for expandable modular raft and a water ride using the same. In one embodiment, the expandable modular raft can include a raft, and a base unit attached to the raft and configured to receive a building block. The building block can be configured to be force fit to the base unit and/or each other. Furthermore, the building block could be formed from various shapes. The expandable modular raft can be used in a water ride and can float along a path such as a river. Interactive units such as water guns can be placed along the path to allow observers to interact with the riders. Furthermore, a raft area can be located adjacent the path to store the rafts, while a building block area can be located adjacent the path to store the building blocks.01-26-2012

20110028227METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING RIDER MOVEMENT ON A WATERSLIDE AMUSEMENT DEVICE - In waterslide amusement devices one or more water jets can be directed along the waterslide surface and used to apply a force to riders using the amusement device. In the present approach the operation of such water jet assemblies is adjusted based on the weight of each rider, so that riders of different weights can negotiate the waterslide amusement device safely and with an appropriate degree of excitement. The rider weight is conveniently measured on the waterslide amusement device, for example, using a load cell assembly, and a signal is sent to a controller to adjust the output of one or more downstream water jet assemblies based on the measured rider weight.02-03-2011

20080277469Closed-Loop Reel Setup Verification and Traceability - A closed-loop receptacle setup verification and traceability system for use in automatically detecting the presence or absence of a components receptacle at a location is presented, such receptacles comprising components reels, components bearing trays or racks, or other such receptacles for bearing and providing components for components processing and/or manipulation. The system is further for automatically identifying the detected receptacles and validating their use at respective detecting locations based on components parameters identifiably associated therewith. The system is still further for tracking and monitoring such receptacles from one detecting location to another optionally updating components parameters associated therewith as needed. To implement the system, each receptacle should comprise at least one detectable element and each detecting position should comprise at least one reader adapted to detect the detectable element and so determine whether receptacles are present at the detecting locations being monitored. Typically, the closed loop system uses RFID technology, e.g. the detector comprises at least one antenna and the detectable element comprises at least one RF tag. Detector antennae may be multiplexed or operated independently to communicate detection, identification and/or validation data between the detectable elements and the system.11-13-2008

20100219243Closed loop location detection system - A closed loop location detection system for use in monitoring simultaneously the presence or absence of objects in at least two locations, comprises at least one detectable element per location and adapted to be associated with a respective object to be monitored, and at least one detecting device adapted to detect the detectable elements of the objects and so determine whether objects are present in, or absent from, all of the locations being monitored. Means are provided for causing an object to be fed to a location determined to be devoid of objects by the detecting device. Typically, the closed loop location detection system uses RFID technology, e.g. the detection device comprises at least one antenna and the detectable element comprising at least one RF tag. There may be provided one such antenna for each location to be monitored, whereby for a given location, a respective antenna detects the presence or absence of a respective tag thereby determining whether an object is present in this given location. Alternatively, the antenna can be adapted to monitor more than one location, wherein a position tag is associated with each location and means to deactivate the position tag are provided on each object, whereby when the object is fed to a given location, the means to deactivate that are provided on this given object, cause the position tag associated with the given location to stop being detected by the antenna thereby determining that a specific object has been fed to a specific location.09-02-2010
