20110185643AWNING AND PORTICO KITS - A roofing structure kit including: (A) first and second angled frame members defining, respectively, a first and second plurality of recesses; and (B) a pre-assembled roof assembly defining a plurality of elongated tabs adjacent its bottom surface. The frame members and roof assembly are adapted to allow a user to form a supplemental roofing structure on a building by: (A) mounting the first frame member on an outer wall of the building so that the first angled frame member extends outwardly and downwardly from the outer wall; (B) mounting the second frame member on an outer wall of the building so that the second angled frame member extends outwardly and downwardly from the outer wall; and (C) positioning the roof assembly on top of the first and second frame members so that each of the elongated tabs extends downwardly into a respective one of the first and second plurality of recesses.08-04-2011
20110185669Outdoor Structure Construction Kits, Such as Pavilion Construction Kits - Outdoor structure kits according to various embodiments are adapted to construct one or more outdoor structures, such as a pavilion. The outdoor structure kits may include a plurality of modular truss sub-assemblies that are adapted to be assembled into trusses. In particular embodiments, the kits are adapted to allow users to install pre-assembled roof panels on the assembled trusses by fitting tabs that extend from the bottoms of the roof panels into recesses defined in the respective top surfaces of the trusses. In particular embodiments, the kits may include a plurality of posts and a plurality of reinforced truss members (which may be made of a reinforced plastic material) that may be assembled to create the structure's floor and/or ceiling frames. In certain embodiments, the kits may include a plurality of roof sub-panels that may be assembled to form a larger roof panel with shingles that overlap the edges of the subpanels.08-04-2011

20090078406Method of Generating a Non-Plugging Hydrate Slurry - Method for reducing loss of flow due to hydrate solids deposits and wax deposition in a pipeline without the aid of chemicals and system for transporting a flow of wellstream hydrocarbons containing water, using a main pipeline and a cold-flow reactor connected to the main pipeline or within or forming a part of the pipeline, wherein at least a portion of the wellstream is fed to the cold-flow reactor. Also provided is a method for preventing hydrate nucleation and growth in a pipeline and preventing hydrate agglomeration as well as for preventing wax deposition. The provided method eliminates the use of energized equipment for melting, grinding or scraping hydrate solids from inside of pipelines or flowlines. Generating dry hydrates to be mixed with main flow of a wellstream is also described.03-26-2009

20110203140GOLF SHOE - A shoe comprising an upper, a midsole, and an outsole, wherein a single collapsible support element is positioned in a recess proximate to a wearer's first metatarsal bone. The single collapsible support element has aniotropic mechanical proerties disposed in the recess, the support element being stiffer in a longitudinal direction and more collapsible in a transverse direction, and having a variable thickness in a transverse direction wherein an inner thickness is thicker than an outer thickness, The collapsible support element resists collapsing when a golfer walks but have a propensity to collapse during the golfer's swing, which allows more efficient transfer of energy during the swing. The shoe further comprises flexing channels in a forward portion as well as a flexing channel in the rear portion.08-25-2011
