20080312488LEAK AND SPILL CONTAINMENT SCALE - A scale assembly for weighing potentially hazardous materials comprise a containment deck designed to support a container from which materials are dispensed. The containment deck is preferably provided with sufficient storage capacity to capture spillage or leaks from the container and is supported on a low-profile platform supported in turn by load cells which generate signals indicative of the weight of the contents of the container and of any spillage within the containment deck. The containment deck is further equipped with a level detector typically positioned near the bottom of the deck for generating signals indicating the presence of leakage or spillage from the container.12-18-2008

20100291496SELF-CONTAINED FLAMEWORKING BENCH - A portable cross-fire burner flameworking device includes a table, two or more gas hookups, two or more regulator and flow meter pairs respectively connected so as to be able to receive gas from the gas hookups, two or more control valves respectively connected so as to be able to receive gas from the regulator and flow meter pairs, and two burners having burner heads each connected so as to be able to receive gas from the two or more control valves mounted on the table. Each burner head has a burner face, and the burner faces are oriented towards each other at a distance. The two or more gas hookups are connected to the table so as to be portable therewith, the two or more regulator and flow meter pairs are connected to on the table so as to be portable together therewith, the two or more control valves are connected to the table so as to be portable therewith, and the two burner heads are likewise connected to the table so as to be portable together therewith. At least one of the two burner heads is connected to the table via a moveable mount allowing the distance between the burner faces to be adjusted.11-18-2010

20090265407Method and System For Determining Altitude, Longitude, and Lattitude From Earth Orthogonal Coordinate System - A method and system for a method and system is provided for transforming geocentric, rectangular coordinates to geodetic coordinates. A meridian plane containing a given point reckoned in geocentric rectangular coordinates is determined, and a line though the given point and normal to a reference ellipsoid of a geodetic coordinate system is determined. An algebraic solution to intersection of the line with the reference ellipsoid is used to determine the coordinates of the point of intersection, which in turn are used to determine the geodetic latitude and altitude of the given point.10-22-2009

20110310995Transcoding multiple media elements for independent wireless delivery - Transcoding multiple media elements for independent wireless delivery. Respective media or multimedia elements are selectively and respectively encoded and/or transcoded. Such respective and selective processing of different media elements provides for their unbundled and independent communication to one or more other devices. In one instance, different respective overlays of a display (e.g., a computer, TV, PDA display, etc.) are respectively and selectively transcoded and/or encoded to generate different respective streams that may each be handled differently as a function of any number of parameters (e.g., media element type, content, communication channel characteristic, source proximity, priority, etc.). Different types of media elements include photo/image, video, graphics, text, audio, picture-in-picture, two-dimensional (2D), three-dimensional (3D), and/or other types of media elements as may be included within a given configuration of a display. Each respective encoding and/or transcoding may be particularly optimized or tailored for a given media element type.12-22-2011
20110314506Point to multi-point wireless video delivery - Point to multi-point wireless video delivery. Among a group of receiver wireless communication devices (RXs), one is designated (e.g., as acknowledgment (ACK) leader). Media delivery operational parameters are selected based on the designated RX or based on all or a subset of the RXs. For simultaneous media delivery to multiple RXs, characteristics associated with the designated RX [or all, or a subset or RXs] govern the manner by which communications are made. Different respective RXs may be designated to serve in this role at different times. Wireless delivery of media (e.g., video signaling, audio signaling, etc.) to a group of RXs is effectuated in accordance with modified multicast signaling with a designated leader (e.g., ACK leader). Among a group of devices, a least successful receiving device that still receives media at an acceptable level may be chosen as the designated leader (e.g., ACK leader).12-22-2011
