The system is capable of use either below or above a tank's liquid content surface as well as being adaptable to flow channels and other surfaces which may become impeded with sediment and debris. The nozzle system includes at least one nozzle receiving fluid from a pump, and a splash plate positioned to deflect a discharged stream from the nozzle in a spread and downward direction. The number and positioning of additional nozzles in the system can be determined by mapping the discharge of each splash plate equipped nozzle and arranging for the desired area of coverage.07-28-2011
20110180633System Having Foam Busting Nozzle and Sub-Surface Mixing Nozzle - A surface foam diffuser system having a first nozzle disposed above a top surface of the at least partially liquid contents, a splash plate positioned adjacent to the first nozzle outlet, and a second nozzle disposed below the top surface of the at least partially liquid contents is disclosed for suppressing foaming in large processing tanks. The system nozzles each have an inlet for receiving pressurized liquid and an outlet for ejecting a liquid stream into the tank, the depth of the second nozzle and the direction of the liquid stream there from being such that rotation of the top surface is facilitated. The spray of the first nozzle, as dispersed by the splash plate, reduces foam on at least a portion of the top surface, with the rotation of the top surface allowing each portion of the top surface to eventually fall within the reducing spray.07-28-2011
20110220746Internal Cutter on Submersed Mixer - A mixing system for a fluid tank is described herein, the system having a drive motor, an impeller capable of being submersed, a shroud having a sidewall enclosing the impeller, and a cutter mounted on the shroud and cooperating with a blade of the impeller to cut solids within the shroud. The shroud is open at both an inlet end and a discharge end for drawing in and discharging fluid from the tank. A recess is provided on the internal surface of the shroud, wherein the cutter is adjustably positioned within the recess. Additionally, the cutter is also detachable from the recess so that it may be replaced when worn. In use, homogeneity is maintained in a slurry contained within the tank by submerging an impeller into the slurry, the impeller being shrouded in a housing having an inlet opening and a discharge opening, securing a cutter on an internal surface of the housing such that during operation of the impeller the cutter cooperates with a blade of the impeller to cut solids within the slurry, drawing tank contents into the impeller at the inlet opening, cutting solid material in the drawn tank contents between the cutter and an impeller blade, and then discharging the drawn tank contents out the discharge opening back into the tank.09-15-2011

20100037982METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AUTO-CASCADE BOTTLE FILLING - A system is disclosed for filling bottles and other fluid holding vessels. In the system, a pressure transducer monitors fluid pressure within a conduit that communicates with fluid filled storage banks. Using a programmable logic controller, valves associated with the banks may be systematically opened to cause fluid to pass though the conduit and into a downstream bottle. As a particular bank has discharged and the downstream bottle is filled the rate of change in the pressure in the conduit will fall to zero. If the bottle has been filled before or upon equalization of the pressure, the fill operation may be discontinued. However, if the bottle is not filled, the controller may then cause the valve to close, and the either activate a compressor or open the valve of a second bank causing that bank to discharge into the conduit and continue filling the bottle.02-18-2010

20110191213SECURING USER ACCESS TO A PARAMETER VALUE ACROSS A SOFTWARE PRODUCT LINE DIFFERENTLY FOR DIFFERENT PRODUCTS - A computer is programmed to receive from an administrator, a rule specifying one or more values of a parameter, identification of software wherein the rule is to be applied, and identification of a user on whom the rule is to be applied. The computer stores an association between the rule, the identified user and the identified software. On receipt of input from the identified user, to access the identified software, the computer uses the association to retrieve the rule, apply the rule to select information based on the value(s) specified in the rule, and execute the identified software to display the selected information to the identified user. Use of a rule that is specific to the user and also specific to the software enables the computer to support security for each user differently for different pieces of software in a software product line.08-04-2011

20080226850Alternating Spacer Frame Line Control - Each of the multiple spacer frame fabricating machines executes its portion of a schedule, then alerts an operator(s) he or she should move to another spacer frame machine that is simultaneously providing spacer frames for the same schedule. The multiple controllers running the multiple spacer machines continue to prompt the operator until the production schedule has been completed. By alternately choosing spacers from different machines, the operator(s) can maintain the proper spacer sequence on the overhead conveyor.09-18-2008

20090288046CIRCUIT DESIGN PROCESSES - A method for designing a circuit. The method includes (i) providing a netlist of a design and (ii) dividing the netlist into N user logics, N being a positive integer. After said dividing the netlist is performed, the N user logics in N macro test wrappers are instantiated resulting in N instantiated logics. After said instantiating the N user logics is performed, the N instantiated logics are processed. After said processing is performed, a result of said processing is back-annotated to the netlist.11-19-2009

20110302367Write Buffer for Improved DRAM Write Access Patterns - The present invention relates to a method and respective system for operating a DRAM main memory. One buffer line is provided for multiple pages. When writing data to the buffer it is decided which to which buffer-line the data is written to based on its destination main memory address. A tuple consisting of lower memory address and data is stored. Data entered into the buffer-line will be sorted by page in case the line is flushed to the main memory. Sorting the buffer entries results in less page openings and closings, since the data is re-arranged by memory address and therefore in logical order. By using one line for multiple pages only a fraction of memory of a common set-associative cache is needed, thus decreasing the amount of overhead significantly.12-08-2011
