20120036130Systems, methods, software and interfaces for entity extraction and resolution and tagging - For automated text processing, the inventors devised, among other things, an exemplary system that includes an entity tagger, an entity resolver, a text segment classifier, and a relationship extractor. The entity tagger receives an input text segment, and tags named entities with the segment as being a person, company, or place. The entity resolver accesses authority files, and associates the persons and companies named in the text segment with specific entries in the files. The text segment classifier determines whether the text segment includes a relationship event, such as job-change event or merger and acquisition event, and if an event is detected, the relationship extractor determines the event role of entities named in the segment. For example, the extractor determines for a merger and acquisition event, which named company was the acquirer and which was acquired.02-09-2012

20090089933PRESSURE DISPERSION SUPPORT SYSTEMS - A pressure dispersion system includes a pressure dispersion pad and a pressure dispersing mattress system for body support and sleep. The pressure dispersion pad and pressure dispersing mattress systems reduce pressure points from a supported body to less than approximately 32 mm Hg to reduce or eliminate capillary closing and a resultant reduction in pressure concentration and resultant discomfort and repositioning during sleep. Empirical design from human body pressure mapping is used to identify support zones for which components are selected and assembled in the pressure dispersion support systems for pressure dispersion and relief. In a pressure dispersion support system in the form of a mattress, multiple zones are defined by arrangement of different kinds of support materials, including foam tops such as memory foam or moderate to low density polyurethane, and secondary foam layers or foam base of relatively higher density polyurethane and latex. Different types of foam and foam constructs are provided in different zones of the pressure dispersion pad. Incorporation of the pressure dispersion pad in a mattress system, and in combination with foam dampening inserts in an innerspring of the mattress system, translate the pressure relieving properties of the zoned pressure dispersion pad into a mattress system.04-09-2009

20090183314FOAM SPRINGS AND INNERSPRING COMBINATIONS FOR MATTRESSES - A dual spring support structure for mattresses or other reflexive support structures employs a foam spring in combination with an innerspring or foam core, to provide a multi-mode and multi-structural support surface with a multiple, constant, or complimentary spring rate and support characteristics. Foam springs have geometric cross-sectional configurations with mechanical spring properties which work in concert with the spring properties of foam. Foam springs are used in one embodiment about the perimeter of a wire form innerspring or about the perimeter of a foam core. The foam springs may have a spring rate that is complimentary to, greater than or less than the spring rate of the innerspring or core. Foam springs of different configurations and spring rates can be combined with different types of cores, or used alone to provide a spring or cushioning structure.07-23-2009
20090183315INNERSPRING DAMPENING INSERTS - Dampened and zoned innersprings for use in support systems such as mattresses and furniture have dampening inserts in the form of foam pieces which fit integrally with the springs or coils of an innerspring. Dampened innersprings with one or more foam dampeners inserted between springs or coils of an innerspring, and more particularly foam dampener inserts which are configured to extend between multiple adjacent or aligned springs or coils, and which also have segments which fit between individual turns or convolutions of each spring or coil with which the insert is engaged Mechanical engagement of the innerspring by the foam dampening inserts insures alignment and registration of the innerspring and foam components, and compression and recoil of the individual coils of the innerspring occurs in conjunction with compression and decompression of the foam dampening inserts.07-23-2009
20090193591VARIABLE COIL DENSITY ANISOTROPIC INNERSPRINGS - Variable coil density anisotropic innersprings in which the placement and density of the coils or spring units varies between one or more regions or areas of the innerspring to provide innersprings with different average spring rates in different zones or regions of the innerspring. Various anisotropic arrangements of coils in innersprings are disclosed.08-06-2009
20100257675COIL-IN-COIL SPRINGS AND INNERSPRINGS - A mattress innerspring having coil-in-coil springs arranged in an array. Each coil-in-coil spring an outside helical coil and an inside helical coil, wherein the outside helical coil has a greater height and diameter than the inside helical coil, each coil having a dual spring rate between that of the outside helical coil and the combined spring rates of the outside and inside helical coils. The coil-in-coil springs may be pocketed or unpocketed in a mattress innerspring.10-14-2010
20110107523MATTRESS INNERSRPING INSERTS AND SUPPORTS - Innerspring dampening foam inserts are disclosed in various combinations with mattress innersprings having a plurality of helical form coils interconnected in an array in which the coils are generally aligned in rows and columns, each of the coils having a generally cylindrical coil body formed by helical turns of wire with openings between each of the helical turns of wire, and first and second ends to the coil body also formed by the wire, each of the coil bodies being spaced apart in the array. At least one innerspring insert is inserted into an innerspring in spaces or channels between the spaced apart coils. The innerspring dampening inserts, which are preferably made of foam, may have a generally H-shaped configuration with upper and lower parallel lateral members and a transverse member that extends between and bisects the upper and lower lateral members. In another embodiment, the innerspring inserts may be generally T-shaped having a lower lateral member, a vertical member which is perpendicular to and bisects the lower lateral member and a lateral extension which extends outward from one side of the vertical member. The innerspring inserts may create or define zones or regions of the innerspring which have different support characteristics from other zones or regions by dampening or altering the spring rates and support characteristics of the innerspring in the areas or regions where the insert are located. The innerspring inserts may also be placed at or near the border or edges of the innerspring to provide increased stability in the perimeter or edge areas of the support surface of a mattress.05-12-2011
