20100095425DEVICES FOR ISOLATING A PORTION OF A USER'S BODY AND DISPENSERS THEREFOR - A barrier device is adapted to be worn by a user and provide isolation between the user and an object that is to be contacted by the user. The barrier device comprises a first pocket having a first top surface and a first bottom surface and an opening providing access to a cavity between the first top and bottom surfaces. The barrier device also includes a second pocket having a second top surface and a second bottom surface and an opening providing access to a cavity between the second top and bottom surfaces. A panel interconnects the first bottom surface and the second top surface to connect the first and second pockets, the panel having an adjustable length such that when a user wears the barrier device with one or more fingers in the first pocket and thumb in the second pocket, the panel provides a barrier for the user's palm that is adjustable to accommodate different hand sizes of different users. Furthermore, the barrier device is adapted to be wearable on either the right or left hand of a user. Dispensers for such barrier devices are also provided having a contoured portion adapted to facilitate the application of a barrier device to a user's hand.04-22-2010

20080268949Electronic jump rope - An exercise gaming device in which the user stands in front of a housing having a plurality of rows of lights extending from the front of the housing to the rear of the housing. The rows of lights are sequentially illuminated to give the illusion that the lights are an illuminated light rope over which the user must jump. There is a sensor in the jump area that is electrically connected to the illuminated lights to determine if the user jumps at the correct time when the lights at the bottom of the housing are illuminated. The device continues to rotate the light rope as long as the user continues jumping at the appropriate time, or until the game ends.10-30-2008

20100271891Accessing Memory Cells in a Memory Circuit - Techniques for accessing a memory cell in a memory circuit include: receiving a request to access a selected memory cell in the memory circuit; determining whether the selected memory cell corresponds to a normal memory cell or a weak memory cell in the memory circuit; accessing the selected memory cell using a first set of control parameters when the selected memory cell corresponds to a normal memory cell, wherein the selected memory cell provides correct data under prescribed operating specifications when accessed using the first set of control parameters; and accessing the selected memory cell using a second set of control parameters when the selected memory cell corresponds to a weak memory cell, wherein the selected memory cell provides correct data under the prescribed operating specifications when accessed using the second set of control parameters and provides incorrect data under the prescribed operating specifications when accessed using the first set of control parameters.10-28-2010
20100301926Optimization of Circuits Having Repeatable Circuit Instances - Techniques for forming a first electronic circuit including a plurality of instances of a repeatable circuit element include the steps of: obtaining a total number of instances of the repeatable circuit element in a design of an IC including the first electronic circuit and at least a second electronic circuit; and configuring at least one functional parameter of the first electronic circuit as a function of the total number of instances of the repeatable circuit element in the IC to thereby satisfy a prescribed minimum composite manufacturing yield of the IC and/or at least one specification of the IC under prescribed operating conditions.12-02-2010

20100238751Method and Apparatus for Increasing Yield in a Memory Device - An electronic circuit includes multiple circuit elements arranged into multiple distinct subdivisions, each subdivision having a separate voltage supply connection for conveying power to the subdivision. The electronic circuit further includes a controller including multiple outputs, each of the outputs being connected to a corresponding one of the voltage supply connections. When a given one of the subdivisions does not include a weak circuit element, the controller supplies a first voltage level to the given subdivision via the corresponding voltage supply connection. When the given subdivision includes at least one weak circuit element, the controller is operative to supply at least a second voltage level to the given subdivision via the corresponding voltage supply connection, the second voltage level being greater than the first voltage level.09-23-2010
