20090276283SCREENING ELECTRONIC SERVICE REQUESTS - A facility for screening service requests for requesting assistance is described. The facility receives from a user a service request that requests assistance with solving a problem associated with a system accessible to the user and includes information related to the system. The facility searches a collection of system status information for at least one entry that corresponds with the received information related to the system. Where a corresponding entry is found, the facility provides to the user an indication of the correspondence and an opportunity to cancel the service request.11-05-2009

20080239712LIGHTING SYSTEM - A light head is mounted on a common base, and includes a light source in a mounting base. The base is mounted on a collapsible elongated pole, and the pole is for mounting on an outside wall of a carrying case. There is a carrying handle for the case, an electrical power outlet mounted on a wall, base or lid of the case and for plugging in an electrical wire to power the light head. The interior of the case is for locating a rechargeable battery, and the battery when charged, supplies power to the power outlet such that the light head can be powered. Recharging can be via either a 12V DC automobile or a 110 AC power supply. The carrying handle is extendible; and retractable, and in the retraction mode is essentially within the general perimeter space of the case. The case includes a pair of pulley wheels, the wheels being for facilitating the moving of the case.10-02-2008

20090154161LIGHT WITH A CLIP - A portable light intended for mounting on a garment as support includes two LED light sources spaced apart towards the rear of the portable light. A clipped base below on anchor facilitates locating a garment between the anchor and the base, and a spring action urges the base toward the anchor. A hingedly movable head for the LEDs is mounted on the housing to move to and form the housing. An opening of the housing causes a switch in the housing to move between an opened and closed position such that a circuit actives or deactivates the LED lights when the head opens or closes relative to the housing.06-18-2009
20090200300PROTECTIVE CASE - A protective case which includes two mating case components and a liner extending between a peripheral area for mating engagement to ensure a relatively sealed relationship when the case components are closed. A latch face is a single elongated element on the front and has two spaced interlocking components to cooperate with hooks in the opposite case component.08-13-2009
20110122605Collapsible light - A collapsible lighting device has a main body surrounded by a collar whose position is adjustable along the longitudinal axis of the main body. Pivotally connected or hinged legs are attached to the collar and to the main body with struts. When the collar is on one position, the legs deploy outward from the main body to the extent permitted by the struts, thereby allowing the legs to support the collapsible lighting device upright. A lamp head is attached to a member which telescope from the main body. When deployed, the lamp head can be switched on to provide illumination. When the collar is another position, the legs are drawn in toward the main body to form a cylindrical shape. The lam head can be positioned so that when the telescoping member is retracted into the main body, the collar surrounds the exterior of the lamp head, thus protecting the lamp head for transport. The overall cylindrical shape of the lighting device in the collapsed position facilitates transport, for example using a strap to carry the device on one's back.05-26-2011
