OUTPUT SIGNAL ERROR DETECTION, CIRCUMVENTION, SIGNAL RECONSTRUCTION AND RECOVERY - A method of dealing with anomalies in an output signal is provided. The method includes monitoring transitions in the output signal. When transitions do not occur at expected times, detecting an anomalous signal. Determining the type of anomalous signal based at least in part on the time period of the anomalous signal and conditioning the output signal based on the type of anomalous signal detected. | 10-28-2010

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INTERFACING TO A MEMORY - In a memory interface, a delay locked loop (DLL) is added to the system in order to provide an accurate, PVT insensitive translation of the drive clocks into the write data eye. Adding a master-slave DLL to the system provides an accurate, PVT insensitive translation of the echo clocks into the read data eye. Solidifying the timing critical drive and receive logic which directly interfaces to the I/O buffers reduces the pin-to-pin skews. Utilizing clock phase outputs of the DLL in the solidified drive and receive logic blocks reduces further the skew between the clock and related data signals, and also removes the reliance on a differential clock. The system allows a much more relaxed constraint on clock duty cycle. Design of circuitry within the solidified drive and receive logic blocks permits simple logic modeling for fit within an ASIC flow. Physical design of the solidified drive and receive logic blocks permits simple fit within ASIC place and route flows for increased ease of implementation and ease of reuse. | 05-13-2010

APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR TREAT-FILLED DOLLS FOR PETS - A treat-filled and disposable pet toy is formed in an attractive and identifiable shape. The toy includes a hook and loop material strip attached to a slit in the doll, which is attached by an attachment material, such as stitching. When the slit is opened, it reveals a cavity that is filled with pet treats. Pets are attracted to the toy because of its smell and appearance. Pets may chew the doll apart, or if the temperament of the dog is milder, the doll may be refilled with treats until worn out. | 06-17-2010

METHOD OF PROVIDING TACTILE FEEDBACK AND APPARATUS - A method includes detecting a query gesture and actuating, in response to the query gesture, an actuator to provide tactile feedback including information associated with the query gesture. The query gesture may be detected on a touch-sensitive display of a portable electronic device. | 09-01-2011

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MODIFYING A SCHEDULING DATABASE - A mobile electronic communications device and a method for modifying a scheduling database are provided. The scheduling database can be modified via the mobile electronic communications device in communication with a proximate electronic device comprising a display device, when the mobile electronic communications device is engaging in an oral communications session with a second communications device. Time slot data associated with an available time slot is retrieved from the scheduling database, via the mobile electronic communications device. The time slot data associated with the available time slot is transmitted, via the mobile electronic communications device, to the proximate electronic device to cause the proximate electronic device to display the time slot data associated with the available time slot at the display device. Input data is received at the mobile electronic communications device. If the input data is representative of a command to update the scheduling database, updating, via the mobile electronic communications device, an entry of the scheduling database based on the time slot data associated with the available time slot displayed at the display device. | 02-17-2011
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INVOKING A FUNCTION BASED ON A GESTURE INPUT - An electronic apparatus is provided including an input assembly. The input assembly includes a graphic display layer, a masking layer, and an input device. The graphic display layer includes a plurality of function icons. The masking layer includes a plurality of function icon windows for displaying functions icons associated with a particular application. Each of the displayed function icons corresponds to a function of the particular application. The input device includes a plurality of input device sections for receiving a gesture input. The graphic display layer is moveable relative to the masking layer such that, based on the relative positioning between the graphic display layer and the masking layer, function icons associated with a particular application are displayed through the function icon windows and the other function icons are at least obscured by the masking layer. The receiving of the gesture input by a one of the plurality of input device sections corresponding to a one of the displayed function icons invokes the function corresponding to the one of the displayed function icons. | 04-07-2011

APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR TENDON OR LIGAMENT REPAIR - Apparatus and methods for repairing damaged tendons or ligaments. Various repair apparatus include an elongate tensile member and a pair of anchor assemblies connected for movement along the tensile member on either side of a repair site, such as a tear or laceration. The anchor assemblies or structures may take many forms, and may include barbed, helical, and crimp-type anchors. In the preferred embodiments, at least one anchor structure is movable along the elongate tensile member to assist with adjusting a tendon segment to an appropriate repair position and the anchor structure or structures are then lockable onto the elongate tensile member to assist with affixing the tendon at the repair position. Tendon and/or ligament-to-bone repair apparatus and methods employ similar concepts. | 02-25-2010
