20110088566Disposable base plate - A disposable base plate for use with all loose bottom and assembly-baking pans, variations include; cheesecake pan, spring-form pan, fluted cake pan, angel food cake pan, tart pan, pie pan, cake pans (mini, round, square, heart shaped, star shaped) and loose bottom pans. A single piece of a two-piece baking pan; an interchangeable platform made of heavy reinforced aluminum foil material, suitable to withstand a baking and freezing environment, to serve as the pan's base. Depending on the pan's design, this base will either interlock to the wall of the pan, or sit within the wall of the pan to form a single unit. The disposable aluminum foil base replaces the traditional anodized aluminum or heavy-gauge steel base. As such, the disposable base is an improvement over the existing base in that it adds convenience, is economical, is intended for use in residential and commercial gas and electric ovens, can be used to bake, serve, and store content, and allows for continuous use of the unit's wall upon removal of finished content. And, it is disposable after one use, while providing the same outstanding baking performance.04-21-2011

20080308465METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR REMOVING METALS FROM LOW GRADE FUEL - A method for removing metals from fuel containing vanadium or nickel including intimately mixing an adsorbent with the fuel and isolating the treated fuel. The treated fuel has reduced levels of vanadium, nickel and other metals. Systems for fuel treatment are also provided.12-18-2008
20090121251Siloxane-hydantoin copolymer, optoelectronic device encapsulated therewith and method - The invention provides a siloxane-hydantoin copolymer, an optoelectronic device encapsulated therewith, and methods thereof. The siloxane-hydantoin copolymer comprises a unit selected from the group consisting of Y05-14-2009
20090166665Encapsulated optoelectronic device - The invention provides an optoelectronic device (e.g. a LED device) and method thereof. The device includes an optoelectronic component at least partially surrounded by an encapsulant comprising a silicone such as an aliphatic silicone and an adhesion promoter. The optoelectronic device exhibits improved properties such as adhesion and structural integrity, UV and thermal stability, and long term stability under accelerated aging conditions.07-02-2009
20090242460OXIDATIVE DESULFURIZATION OF FUEL OIL - A method for purifying a sulfur-containing fuel oil comprising (a) contacting the fuel oil with a supported exogenous binary catalyst and oxygen at a temperature in a range of from about 25° C. to about 150° C., and at a pressure in a range of from about 1 atmosphere to about 150 atmospheres to provide a first oxidized mixture; and (b) separating at least one oxidized sulfur compound from the first oxidized mixture to a provide a purified fuel oil. In one embodiment, the sulfur-containing fuel oil is deasphalted prior to contacting with the supported exogenous binary catalyst and oxygen.10-01-2009
20090312176METHODS AND SYSTEM FOR REGENERATION OF ADSORBENT MATERIAL - A method of regenerating adsorbent material includes providing a spent adsorbent material and contacting the adsorbent material with a solvent composition to facilitate removing oil and impurities from the spent solvent material.12-17-2009
20100236989SURFACE MODIFIED SORBENT - Disclosed herein is a sorbent composition including an adsorbent support; and a metal component comprising a transition metal, wherein the metal component is impregnated on a surface of the adsorbent support; and wherein the metal component effects the removal of sulfur and vanadium from a hydrocarbon fuel. Also disclosed herein is a sorbent composition comprising an adsorbent support, wherein a surface of the adsorbent support has been chemically modified to comprise functional groups; and wherein the adsorbent support effects the removal of sulfur and vanadium from a hydrocarbon fuel.09-23-2010
20110073526Method for Desulfurization of Hydrocarbon Oils - Provided herein are processes for desulfurization of a hydrocarbon oil. The processes comprise providing a hydrocarbon oil comprising sulfur impurities and mixing the oil with a phase transfer agent and a source of hypochlorite ions to provide a mixture. The mixture separates into an aqueous hypochlorite phase and a non-polar oil phase. The hypochlorite phase may then be removed from the oil phase, and the oil phase centrifuged and separated from any precipitate, thereby providing a cleaned oil phase.03-31-2011
