| 20100325087 | TEST STRATEGY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ACCOUNTS HELD DIRECT AT-FUND - The present invention provides a system and method for a user to test and transfer data from a client's database or network to a host's database or network. In accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a user acquires data information from a client. The user uses this information to generate a spreadsheet, and to populate the spreadsheet with assumed values based on the information received from the client. The spreadsheet is configured in a fashion such that it is consistent with the host's database or network. The user requests and receives a test file from the client and uses a developed algorithm, generally in the form of a computer program, to reformat the file so that it is consistent with the host's database configuration. The user determines the consistency between the reformatted file and the host's database by comparing the reformatted file to the previously generated spreadsheet. Any inconsistencies identified alert the user that the file reformatting algorithm needs updating. When all the updates are complete and the reformatting algorithm has been deemed appropriate to carry out the data transformation function, the entire client database log is sent to the user in the form of an input file. The input file is duplicated to protect the original information and then reformatted using the updated algorithm. The reformatted file may then be uploaded to the host's network or database so that the information contained may be used by others who access the database or network for information. | 12-23-2010 |

| 20110257944 | MODELING HYDRAULIC FRACTURING INDUCED FRACTURE NETWORKS AS A DUAL POROSITY SYSTEM - A method for calibrating fracture networks. The method includes estimating an average fracture width of a fracture network using one or more of net fracturing pressure, Poisson's ratio, shear modulus, and fracture height; determining microseismic event envelope and base intensity data using a three-dimensional geomodel including microseismic event data; and determining hydraulic fracturing treatment (HFT) fracture intensity of post-hydraulic fracturing treatment (post-HFT) based on the average fracture width and HFT volume data. The method further includes calibrating the base intensity data to the HFT fracture intensity to obtain calibrated HFT fracture intensity, determining a proppant transportation and distribution scenario, and generating a dual porosity reservoir model based on the calibrated HFT fracture intensity and the proppant transportation and distribution scenario. | 10-20-2011 |

| 20110247879 | APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING GASES DURING CORING OPERATIONS - A method for detecting the presence of an acid gas in a formation fluid from a subterranean formation comprises (a) lowering a coring assembly into a wellbore. The coring assembly including an outer core barrel and an inner core barrel disposed within the outer core barrel. The inner core barrel has an upper end, a lower end opposite the upper end, and a core sample chamber extending axially from the lower end. In addition, the method comprises (b) capturing a core sample from the subterranean formation within the sample chamber. Further, the method comprises (c) raising the coring assembly to the surface after (b). Still further the method comprises (d) contacting a formation fluid in the sample chamber with at least one detector during (c). Moreover, the method comprises (e) detecting the presence of a formation acid gas in the formation fluid with the at least one detector during (c). | 10-13-2011 |

| 20090289111 | System And Method For Providing A Product-Based Coupon Card Account - Providing a product-based coupon account. Specifically, the invention provides systems and methods for providing consumers with a coupon account for receiving an incentive or discount for purchasing a particular product. The consumer is issued a coupon account or coupon card that can be used at a merchant to receive the incentive at the time of purchase of the particular product. The coupon card is scanned at the merchant point of sale and information associated with the transaction including product-level information (e.g., SKU or UPC) and information associated with the coupon card is communicated to a authorization computing system for approval based on this information. The coupon card can be issued for one-time use or can receive updated incentives periodically. | 11-26-2009 |
