20110024118Well Fishing Method and System - A well fishing method and system is described. In at least one example of the invention, a method of retrieval of material (e.g., a tubing string) having broken control or monitoring lines from a cased well is provided. The method comprises: isolating, from the well casing, broken lines above the material to be retrieved, thereby creating a substantially axial work passage; grasping the material to be removed through the substantially axial work passage; and pulling the material to be retrieved and the restrained lines from the well. Example shrouds, probes and other members are also described.02-03-2011

20100101477System and Method for High Current Recovery Cursor - A high current cursor comprises a outer frame in which a center carriage travels. The center carriage travels between the top and bottom of the outer frame. Movement of the center carriage is limited within the outer frame constraints and its own locking mechanism. Center carriage carries a bend restrictor for an umbilical or lift line. When the center carriage travels down to a predetermined position within the high current cursor, equipment is allowed to exit the high current cursor or is retrieved back into the high current cursor when the bend restrictor reaches a predetermined position within the outer frame, e.g. at its lowest point, allowing dispersal and/or retrieval without obstruction back to a fixed recovery point.04-29-2010

20100112617Evaluating RTK Target Drugs - Methods of evaluating receptor tyrosine kinase drug efficacy are demonstrated. The methods generally relate to evaluation methods using phospho-RTK over total RTK ratio (pRTK/tRTK). An algorithm is provided that allows the user to combine the pRTK/tRTK ratios from several kinase together with other kinds of measurements to obtain a PDX value that is indicative of drug efficacy.05-06-2010
20100143935c-KIT Phosphorylation in Cancer - An antibody is disclosed for the detection of phosphorylated c-KIT. A method of diagnosing and monitoring cancers responsive to treatment using an anti-phospho-c-KIT antibody are also disclosed. A diagnostic kit is also provided for the detection and monitoring of cancers responsive to tyrosine phosphorylation inhibitor treatment.06-10-2010

20100251992 Radial pulsed rotary internal combustion engine - A radial pulsed rotary engine a rotor mounted for rotation between two parallel circular discs and creates pulsed focused fuel/air mixture ignitions sequentially within many wedge shaped chambers of a flat circular rotor. The rotor has a number of wedge shaped chambers that are defined by a number of rotor partitions that extend from positions near the center of the rotor to positions at or near the outer periphery of the rotor and are sequentially in communication with a fuel/air supply, defined by one of the disks, and an outer peripheral portion that is sequentially in communication with exhaust discharge openings that are defined by a housing within which the rotor is positioned. Spark plugs are mounted to the housing and fire sequentially in response to the position of the rotor within the housing.10-07-2010

20110057656Drilling System for Making LWD Measurements Ahead of the Bit - A drilling system includes integral drill bit body and logging while drilling tool body portions. There are no threads between the drill bit and the LWD tool. In one exemplary embodiment the drilling system includes a unitary tool body, i.e., a tool body formed from a single work piece. In another exemplary embodiment the drill bit body portion is welded to the LWD tool body portion. At least one LWD sensor is deployed in the drill bit. The drilling system enables multiple LWD sensors to be deployed in and near the bit (e.g., on both the side and bottom faces of the bit). The absence a threaded connection facilitates the placement of electrical connectors, LWD sensors, and electronic control circuitry at the bit.03-10-2011
