During plasmid DNA isolation, the lysate can be loaded directly to the assembly including the disposable pre-filter column and the microspin column. A quick spin causes the plasmid DNA to bind to the microspin column while the flocculents remain on top of the disposable pre-filter column, eliminates the need to first remove the flocculants containing cellular debris.
