20090050255Flexible imaging member belt seam smoothing process - Post treatment processes of an ultrasonically welded seamed flexible imaging member belt for providing a smooth surface and substantially eliminating protrusions by applying heat and/or pressure to an overlap region of the seam to compress and reform the seam.02-26-2009
20090294512MEMBER FOR SMOOTHING FLEXIBLE BELT SEAMS AND METHOD FOR USING - An improved member for use in welding seamed flexible belts to produce smoother seams having reduced seam thickness. The improved member has a unique configuration, that includes a ridge defined at an end of the member and further includes a V-shape groove or cut defined in the ridge, which helps facilitate welding of the seam overlap region.12-03-2009
20090294513ULTRASONIC WELDING MEMBER FOR SMOOTHING FLEXIBLE BELT SEAMS AND METHOD FOR USING - An ultrasonic welding member for use in welding seamed flexible belts to produce smoother seams having reduced seam thickness. The ultrasonic welding member has a unique configuration, that includes an increased tip surface formed in such a manner that more energy from the horn is dispersed over the seam overlap region for a longer duration of time to produce a smoother and thinner weld.12-03-2009
20090324304INTERMEDIATE TRANSFER BELT AND METHODS FOR MAKING THE SAME - An image forming apparatus having an improved intermediate transfer belt, and processes for making the same. More specifically, there is provided an intermediate transfer belt having one or more steering ribs formed into the belt such that a separate steering rib need not be employed.12-31-2009
20100154972FLEXIBLE IMAGING MEMBER BELT SEAM SMOOTHING PROCESS - Post treatment processes of an ultrasonically welded seamed flexible imaging member belt for providing a smooth surface and substantially eliminating protrusions by applying heat and/or pressure to an overlap region of the seam to compress and reform the seam.06-24-2010
20110052854GLYCOLURIL RESIN AND ACRYLIC RESIN MEMBERS - An intermediate transfer member, such as a belt, where the seam or seams thereof on the member contain a coating mixture of a glycoluril resin and a self crosslinking acrylic resin.03-03-2011
20110053070GLYCOLURIL RESIN AND ACRYLIC RESIN DUAL MEMBERS - A dual layered intermediate transfer member, such as a belt, that includes a substrate that is coated with a layer of a mixture of a glycoluril resin, and a self crosslinking acrylic resin.03-03-2011
20110081610CORONA TREATMENT FOR INTERMEDIATE TRANSFER MEMBER OVERCOAT ADHESION - An intermediate transfer member substrate with an imageable seam overcoat and a process for preparing the intermediate transfer member substrate with an overcoat layer without an adhesive or primer layer is provided.04-07-2011
20110104479SILANE CONTAINING INTERMEDIATE TRANSFER MEMBERS - An intermediate transfer member, such as a belt, that includes, for example, a supporting substrate, a silane first intermediate layer, and contained on the silane layer a second layer of a self crosslinking acrylic resin; a mixture of a glycoluril resin and an acrylic polyol resin; or a mixture of a glycoluril resin and a self crosslinking acrylic resin.05-05-2011
20110135348SIMPLE ITB STEERING RIB APPLICATOR - This invention provides a steering rib for an ITB. These steering rib or ribs are applied to the ITB by placing the rib around a cylindrical fixture. The rib is held in place by a vacuum that is applied to the rib to hold it against the fixture until the rib is adhered to the inside surface of an ITB. Once the rib or ribbing is adhered to the ITB, a series of apertures directs compressed air against the rib and the ITB to release them from the fixture.06-09-2011
