20080215562System and Method for Improved Name Matching Using Regularized Name Forms - A system and method for improved name matching using regularized name forms is presented. A regularization rule engine uses culture-specific regularization rules to iteratively convert candidate names and query names to a canonical form, which are regularized candidate names and regularized query names, respectively. The regularization rules are context-sensitive or context-free rules that pertain to a name's originating culture. Subsequently, a name search engine compares the regularized query name with the regularized candidate names and identifies the regularized candidate names that meet a particular regularization matching threshold. In turn, name search engine selects the candidate names that correspond to the identified regularized candidate names and provides the selected candidate names to a user.09-04-2008

20090077076DATABASE AND DATABASE PROCESSING METHODS - The present application relates to databases and methods for storing and searching data in database tree structures. In particular, but not exclusively, the present application relates to the processing of data stored in database tree structures for use in data packet routing applications. A method of searching a database using a search key is disclosed in which the database contains data stored in a tree structure. The tree structure includes a plurality of nodes. Data relating to a first node and a second node is stored in the database. The data includes a first node key and a second node key which is prefixed by the first node key. The tree structure is searched using a search key by traversing the second node and determining if said first node key has a prefix which matches said search key.03-19-2009

20110106803COMPUTER METHOD AND SYSTEM PROVIDING ACCESS TO DATA OF A TARGET SYSTEM - A computer system and method provides access to Web (global computer network) services data of a target system. The target system exposes data through multiple web services. An application interface is adapted to interface with the target system re-using existing (predefined) web services among applications for the target system. The application interface queries the exposed data. A mapping member maps between application interface query of exposed data and syntax of objects useable in a subject application. The mapping member enables the subject application to access data of object instances generated in response to the query.05-05-2011
