20110040401System, Method and Apparatus for Producing Fire Rated Doors - The present invention provides a system, method and apparatus for producing fire rated doors having added strength, better finishing and low cost manufacturing flexibility. The fire rated doors are made from two panels “sandwiched” together. An optional interior layer (e.g., fire resistant material, lead sheeting, steel or Kevlar) can be added between the door panels for various purposes. Splines, stiles or sticks are inserted in longitudinal channels in the door panels to provide assistance in aligning the door panels and greater hardware holding strength. An intumescent banding material concealed by a banding material around the perimeter of the door seals the door within its frame during a fire. The door design and the automated manufacturing process provide greater design choice, reduced cost and faster fabrication.02-17-2011

20080274364Plasticised Polyvinyl Chloride - Esters of cyclohexane polycarboxylic acids are used as plasticisers for polyvinyl chloride to enable products with comparable mechanical properties to be obtained using less polyvinyl chloride. Use of these esters also produces formulations with increased stability to ultra-violet light, improved low temperature properties, lower viscosity and improved processability as well as reduced smoke on burning. The esters of cyclohexane polycarboxylic acids may be used alone or in admixture with other plasticisers when the esters of cyclohexane polycarboxylic acids may act as viscosity depressants. Fast fusing plasticisers may also be included. The formulations are particularly useful in the production of a range of goods from semi-rigid to highly flexible materials and are particularly useful in the production of medical materials such as blood bags and tubing.11-06-2008

20100315112SOCKET ADAPTER FOR TESTING SINGULATED ICS WITH WAFER LEVEL PROBE CARD - An integrated probe card and socket adapter includes probe needles for probing a wafer including a plurality of CSP IC each having a plurality of bumps. A socket adapter includes a socket body having an elevated portion and a recessed base portion. The recessed base portion has a base portion thickness and includes a plurality of base portion through-holes that align with and receive the bumps on at least one of said plurality of CSP IC after singulation (singulated CSP IC) for securing the singulated CSP IC thereto. The elevated portion includes a plurality of elevated portion through-holes for fastening to the probe card when the probe card is underlying. The base portion thickness is sized so that the probe needles extend into the base portion through-holes a sufficient distance to contact the bumps of the singulated CSP IC for testing using the probe card.12-16-2010
