The devices and systems comprise a first portion or half of a fan wheel assembly, a second portion or half of a fan wheel assembly, and a plurality of splice plates for connecting the first portion of the fan wheel assembly to the second portion of the fan wheel assembly about the rotary element. Methods of manufacturing and assembling the sectionalized devices and systems are also provided.10-23-2008
20080272217SWING HAMMER FOR PARTICULATE SIZE REDUCTION SYSTEM - The invention provides a particulate size reduction system including a grinding chamber, a center shaft defining an axis of rotation and configured for rotational motion within the grinding chamber, a wheel assembly mounted on the center shaft and at least one swing hammer mounted on the wheel assembly. The at least one swing hammer preferably includes a base portion having a first end having a mounting portion for attachment to a wheel assembly of a material treatment system, a second end, an inboard portion proximate the mounting and an outboard portion proximate the second end. The swing hammer also preferably includes a wear pad disposed on the base portion. The wear pad preferably substantially covers a face of the base portion. The wear pad preferably extends from a point proximate the second end of the base portion toward the first end of the base portion to a location proximate the mount.11-06-2008
20080308660Crusher block assembly for particulate size reduction system - The invention provides a crusher block assembly for a particulate size reduction system including a crusher block having an inboard face configured and adapted to cooperate with a swing hammer in a crusher chamber of a particulate size reduction system to crush particulate, and an outboard face for receiving an adjustment mechanism. The crusher block assembly also includes an adjustment mechanism joined to the outboard face on the crusher block. The adjustment mechanism is configured and adapted to adjust the position of the crusher block along a direction between an inboard location and an outboard location within the crusher chamber. The invention also provides a method of adjusting clearance between a swing hammer and a crusher block in a particulate size reduction system.12-18-2008
20090008487Loading system for vertical material size reduction system - The invention provides a loading system for a vertical material size reduction system including a pressure frame configured and adapted to be attached to at least one roller wheel assembly of the vertical material size reduction system. The loading system also includes at least one hydraulic cylinder operably connected to the pressure frame. The hydraulic cylinder is configured and adapted to apply a force to the pressure frame to apply pressure through the at least one roller wheel assembly to a grinding table of the vertical material size reduction system. The invention also provides a kit and a method for retrofitting a vertical material size reduction system accordingly.01-08-2009
20090058016BALL TUBE MILL TRUNNION SEAL - A trunnion seal assembly for joining a stationary inlet/outlet box of a ball tube mill to a rotational interior of the ball tube mill includes an outer ring component configured to be mounted to an outer wall of the stationary inlet/outlet box. An inner ring component is joined to the outer ring component substantially concentrically with the outer ring component. A flexible pad seal is configured to be joined to the outer wall of the stationary inlet/outlet box proximate outer ring component. The pad seal includes a first annular sealing surface. A mill head extension ring configured to be joined to a rotational mill head is located proximate to and substantially concentric with the inner ring component. The mill head extension includes a second annular sealing surface sealingly engaged with the first annular sealing surface of the flexible pad seal.03-05-2009

20090288937AUTOMATIC LIGHT SWITCH AND RELATED METHOD - An automatic switch control fits over a switch on a wall to move a toggle of the switch between an on position and an off position. The automatic switch control generally includes a housing and a wheel member rotatably supported by the housing. The wheel member has a cam member with a ramp surface. An electric motor is operable to rotate the wheel member about an axis of rotation that is generally perpendicular to the wall. A first plunger mechanism has a first spring member that is operable to urge a first cam follower into sliding engagement with the ramp surface. A second plunger mechanism has a second spring member that is operable to urge a second cam follower into sliding engagement with the ramp surface. The second plunger mechanism is disposed on an opposite side of the toggle from the first plunger mechanism when the automatic switch control is installed over the switch. The electric motor is operable to rotate the cam member to position the first plunger mechanism in a retracted condition and to position the second plunger mechanism in an extended condition that is operable to move the toggle to the on position.11-26-2009
