20090212104Automated banking machine that operates responsive to data bearing records - A system controlled responsive to data bearing records includes a card reader that is operative to read card data from user cards including identifying data, and authorizes operation of an automated banking machine responsive to the identifying data. The automated banking machine is operative to generate a check in response to inputs from a user of the banking machine. The banking machine is operative to present the check to a user of the automated banking machine. The banking machine may be operative to present an interface or other method for a user to sign the check. The banking account corresponding to the user of the banking machine is charged an amount corresponding to the value of the check. In exchange for the check being presented at the same banking machine that generated the check, the banking machine is operative to provide the user with cash dispensed from the automated banking machine.08-27-2009
20090218394Automated banking machine that operates responsive to data bearing records - A system controlled responsive to a data bearing record includes a card reader that is operative to read data from user cards including identifying data, and to authorize operation of an automated banking machine responsive to the identifying data. The automated banking machine may be operative to provide an electronic transaction receipt from the banking machine. A bank host computer may be operable to submit the receipt to a system address of record with the bank. The address of record may correspond to an e-mail address, phone number or other address associated with an account involved in the transaction. The receipt may include an image or images associated with the transaction and may be sent to a user of a banking machine. The system may also operate to image deposited checks deposited at a banking machine and may be electronically sent to a maker, payee, or clearinghouse.09-03-2009
20110062232AUTOMATED BANKING MACHINE THAT OPERATES RESPONSIVE TO DATA BEARING RECORDS - A system controlled responsive to data bearing records includes a card reader that is operative to read card data from user cards including identifying data, and authorizes operation of an automated banking machine responsive to the identifying data. The automated banking machine is operative to generate a check in response to inputs from a user of the banking machine. The banking machine is operative to present the check to a user of the automated banking machine. The banking machine is operative to present an interface or other method for a user to sign the check. The user's banking account is charged an amount corresponding to the value of the check. 20110132981Automated banking machine that operates responsive to data bearing records - A system controlled responsive to data bearing records includes a card reader that is operative to read card data from user cards including identifying data, and authorizes operation of an automated banking machine responsive to the identifying data. The banking machine can generate a check in response to user inputs. The banking machine can also present the check to the machine user. The banking machine can present an interface for the user to sign the check. The user's banking account is charged an amount corresponding to the check value. In exchange for the same banking machine receiving the generated check, the user is provided with cash dispensed from the banking machine. The banking machine also allows a user to select having a canceled check image displayed at the machine and/or sent to the user's network address.06-09-2011
20110213705Automated banking machine that operates responsive to data bearing records - A banking system controlled responsive to data bearing records includes a card reader that can read identifying data from user cards. The system can authorize operation of an automated banking machine responsive to the read data. The machine can provide an electronic transaction receipt to the machine user. A bank host computer is operable to submit the receipt to a system address of record with the bank. The address can correspond to an e-mail address, phone number, or other address associated with an account involved in the transaction. The receipt can also include an image associated with the transaction. The system can also operate to image a check deposited at the machine, and then electronically send the image to the check maker, the payee, and/or a clearinghouse.09-01-2011
