20090302842BIRADICAL POLARIZING AGENTS FOR DYNAMIC NUCLEAR POLARIZATION - The present invention provides methods for performing dynamic nuclear polarization using biradicals with a structure of formula (I) as described herein. In general, the methods involve (a) providing a frozen sample in a magnetic field, wherein the frozen sample includes a biradical of formula (I) and an analyte with at least one spin half nucleus; (b) polarizing the at least one spin half nucleus of the analyte by irradiating the frozen sample with radiation having a frequency that excites electron spin transitions in the biradical; (c) optionally melting the sample to produce a molten sample; and (d) detecting nuclear spin transitions in the at least one spin half nucleus of the analyte in the frozen or molten sample. The present invention also provides biradicals with a structure of formula (I) with the proviso that Q12-10-2009

20090276209SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY PROCESSING CANDIDATE RESUMES AND JOB SPECIFICATIONS EXPRESSED IN NATURAL LANGUAGE INTO A NORMALIZED FORM USING FREQUENCY ANALYSIS - Systems and methods for automatically processing candidate resumes and job specifications expressed in natural language into a normalized form using frequency analysis. A database of elements is provided in which each element is expressed in natural language and at least some of which are associated with a corresponding set of synonymous words or phrases. Candidate resumes and job specifications are received in electronic form and expressed in natural language. The candidate resumes and job specifications are analyzed to extract elements expressed in candidate resumes and job specifications. The extracted elements are compared to the database. For each extracted element, the most frequent element or synonym is identified an used as a common form for the extracted element. A set of candidate resumes is matched with a corresponding job specification by comparing the set of elements expressed in common form for the resumes with the set of elements expressed in common form for the job specification.11-05-2009
20090276258 SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATING WORKFORCE TALENT SUPPLY - Systems and methods for estimating workforce talent supply. Candidate resumes are received in electronic form and expressed in natural language. The natural language expression of the candidate resumes is analyzed to extract elements expressed in candidate resumes and to convert extracted elements into a normalized form. A sampling database of candidates is built using normalized form of elements produced by the analysis of candidate resumes to provide an element-level description of each candidate in the sampling database. Data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is used to determine the national supply of workforce talent by occupation, and the national or regional workforce supply of talent is estimated at an element level by statistically extrapolating the information in the sampling database in accordance with the BLS data.11-05-2009
20090276295 SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MODELING WORKFORCE TALENT SUPPLY TO ENABLE DYNAMIC CREATION OF JOB SPECIFICATIONS IN RESPONSE THERETO - Systems and methods for modeling workforce talent supply to enable dynamic creation of job specifications in response thereto. A sampling database is built of candidates using normalized form of elements derived from candidate resumes to provide an element level description of each candidate. The national or regional workforce supply of talent is estimated at an element level by statistically extrapolating the information in the sampling database in accordance with BLS data. A job specification is analyzed to determine a corresponding set of normalized elements. The corresponding set of normalized elements is compared to the estimated workforce supply to determine the degree of match at an element-by-element level. The degree of match is presented at an element-by-element level so the user can identify how elements in the job specification affect the degree of match with the estimated workforce supply and so that the user may alter the job specification if desired.11-05-2009
20090276415SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY PROCESSING CANDIDATE RESUMES AND JOB SPECIFICATIONS EXPRESSED IN NATURAL LANGUAGE INTO A COMMON, NORMALIZED, VALIDATED FORM - Systems and methods for automatically processing candidate resumes and job specifications expressed in natural language into a common, normalized, validated form. Candidate resumes and job specifications are received in electronic form and expressed in natural language. The natural language expression of the candidate resumes and job specifications are analyzed to extract elements expressed in candidate resumes and job specifications. Each extracted element is validated against a database of valid words or phrases. The extracted, validated elements are converted for each candidate resume or job specification into corresponding set of synonymous elements. The synonymous elements are expressed in a common form used across all candidate resumes and job specifications processed by the method. A set of candidate resumes is matched with a corresponding job specification by comparing the set of elements expressed in common form for the resumes with the set of elements expressed in common form for the job specification.11-05-2009
20090276460SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY PROCESSING CANDIDATE RESUMES AND JOB SPECIFICATIONS EXPRESSED IN NATURAL LANGUAGE BY AUTOMATICALLY ADDING CLASSIFICATION TAGS TO IMPROVE MATCHING OF CANDIDATES TO JOB SPECIFICATIONS - Systems and methods for automatically processing candidate resumes and job specifications expressed in natural language by automatically adding classification tags to improve matching of candidates to job specifications. Methods and systems process candidate resumes and job specifications to match candidates with job specifications. Candidate resumes and job specifications are received in electronic form and expressed in natural language. They are then analyzed to produce a set of normalized elements to represent said candidate resumes and job specifications. They are also analyzed to automatically assign at least one of an occupation classification, an industry classification, a functional area classification a level classification, and a years experience classification to the job specification.11-05-2009
20100114789SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GUIDING USERS TO CANDIDATE RESUMES AND CURRENT IN-DEMAND JOB SPECIFICATION MATCHES USING PREDICTIVE TAG CLOUDS OF COMMON, NORMALIZED ELEMENTS FOR NAVIGATION - Systems and methods for guiding users to candidate resume and current in-demand job specification matches using a predictive tag cloud of common, normalized elements for navigation. The system automatically processes candidate resumes and job specifications expressed in natural language into a common, normalized, validated form. Users select a single job classification of interest, and subsequently select elements of interest from a tag cloud. Upon each selection, an engine may display a new set of elements that are found in combination with the previously selected elements, via a tag cloud, and a revised list of candidate resume/profiles or job specifications, any of which users can select.05-06-2010
20110106762METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SENDING AND TRACKING RESUME DATA SENT VIA URL - A resume database system allows for resume records on the resume database system to be viewed by others via a Uniform Resource Locator, URL. In addition, in response to instructions from an authorized user of the resume database system, input from an unauthorized, but otherwise verified, source can be added to the database by the resume database system. The verified user accesses the resume database and completes any necessary forms via a web browser and submits the information. The authorized user defines the actions that the verified user is allowed to take. These actions include, for example, only being able to review resume information, or being able to add information to the resume database without needing training on the operation of the database. A resume database server system coordinates the activity of the authorized and verified users. Communications between all three users is accomplished via a computer network.05-05-2011
