| 20090107485 | CALIBRATION AND TRACKING CONTROL OF HELIOSTATS IN A CENTRAL TOWER RECEIVER SOLAR POWER PLANT - A suntracking system for a central receiver solar power plant includes a heliostat field for reflecting sunlight to a receiver, cameras directed toward at least a subset of the heliostats, and a controller. The cameras are configured to produce images of sunlight reflected from multiple heliostats. The heliostats include a mirrored surface having a settable orientation and have a geometry modeled by a set of parameters. A method of estimating heliostat parameters for open-loop suntracking includes acquiring pointing samples by setting the direction of reflection of the heliostats and detecting concurrent sunlight reflections into the cameras. The method uses the acquired pointing samples and surveyed locations of the cameras to estimate the heliostat parameters. The method accurately maintains the sun's reflection directed toward the receiver open-loop utilizing the estimated tracking parameters. | 04-30-2009 |

| 20100177633 | Priority Flow Handling in Stateless Domains - A method of managing quality of service in an IP network is provided. The method comprises identifying, at an egress edge node of the network, that congestion is present in one or more routers within the network. Data flows for termination to remove the congestion are selected. At least one flow termination notification is sent from the egress edge node to an ingress edge node of the network, the at least one flow termination notification identifying the selected data flows. Low priority flows from the selected data flows are terminated at the ingress edge node immediately. High priority flows are terminated only if congestion is still present after a predetermined delay period. The delay may be applied in the ingress edge node or the egress edge node. The invention also provides a method for admitting low priority flows into the network only if the network has resources available for a number of high priority flows above a dynamically determined threshold. | 07-15-2010 |

| 20100096216 | Scaffolding - The invention relates to scaffold frames and scaffold structures. In one embodiment, the invention generally relates to a scaffolding frame that includes at least two vertical support members, at least two legs for each of the vertical support members that extend outward and away from the vertical support members, in which each leg is rotatable around the vertical support members and lockably coupled to each of the vertical support members, the scaffold frame configured such that in a deployed state, a base member of each leg and bottom of each of the vertical support members contact an underlying surface. | 04-22-2010 |

| 20080219576 | Method and apparatus for encoding/decoding image - Provided are a method and apparatus for encoding/decoding an image. The method of encoding an image includes predicting pixel values in a first pixel group from among pixel groups of a block of a current image, using pixel values in a second pixel group of the block, and encoding the current image using the predicted pixel values. Accordingly, prediction efficiency can be increased by performing intra prediction using pixels in a current block. | 09-11-2008 |
