20100004910SYSTEM AND METHOD OF INTERACTIVE SITUATION SIMULATION - An authoring, execution, and participation software system and corresponding method for the capture and execution of real-world events (e.g., crises) involving individuals such as senior private and/or public sector leaders is presented. The authoring system and method are used to model a scenario, incorporating knowledge from domain experts, relevant media, and external computation/simulation engines. The execution system and method execute scenarios created by the authoring system and method and provide a communication hub for the participation system and method. The participation system and method provide individuals, such as senior leaders and their staff, with appropriate views into the unfolding scenario and appropriate decisions to be made. The system and method also include features that allow for research and analysis with respect to, for example, efficient crisis response tactics.01-07-2010

20100146608Multi-Level Secure Collaborative Computing Environment - In some embodiments, a collaborative computing environment includes a federated identity manager coupled to a multi-level secure computing network and a client having a biometric reading device. The multi-level secure computing network includes multiple data repositories that store information according to a ranked classification system comprising multiple security levels. The federated identity manager has a storage device that is operable store a plurality of identity tokens each associated with a corresponding one of a plurality of users. In operation, the federated identity manager receives, from the biometric reading device, a biometric signature associated with a particular one of the users, initiates a login session with the client according to the received biometric signature associated with the particular user, and restricts access to the information stored in the data repositories according to one or more security levels associated with the particular user as specified by the identity token associated with the particular user.06-10-2010

20090063351System And Method For Providing Consumer Rewards - An automated consumer rewards/incentive program that accepts a registration of a consumer. The registration entitles the consumer to receive the benefits of the incentive program. To track the fulfillment of reward earning criteria established by member businesses, the registration includes information indicative of a credit card of the consumer. The system may track member consumer credit card transactions without receiving personal information for non-members by using a one way hash function. The system uses the credit card information to determine when member customers perform a transaction at a member business. When a member customer performs a transaction at a member business using the registered credit card, the system and method examines the credit card transactional information to determine if the consumer fulfilled the requirements of the incentive program for the member business. If the transactional information indicates that the consumer fulfilled the criteria of the rewards program of the member business, the consumer is rewarded in accordance with the benefits of the incentive program.03-05-2009

20090121330Clip Mount For Integrated Circuit Leadframes - A leadframe having a die thereon connects a high current conductive area on the die to a leadframe contact using copper clip that include a structure portion that is received with a recess-like “tub” that is formed in the leadframe contact which tub is shaped to conform to the geometric shape of the clip. In the preferred embodiment, a leadframe structure fabricated by etching includes at least one contact that is a half-etch recess or “tub” that receives one end of the clip structure and is retained in the tub by an adhesive. The end of the clip that is received in the tub is held in place during subsequent handling until the clip and leadframe undergo solder reflow to effect an electrical connection sufficient to handle the current load and a also effect a reliable mechanical connection.05-14-2009
20090121331Self-Aligning Structures and Method For Integrated Circuits - A lead frame having a die thereon connects a high current conductive area on the die to a lead frame contact using a copper clip that includes a structure portion that is received with a recess-like “tub” formed in the lead frame contact. In the preferred embodiment, a lead frame structure fabricated by etching includes at least one contact that is a half-etch recess or “tub” that receives one end of the clip structure and is retained in the tub by solder paste or an adhesive. The end of the clip that is received in the tub is held in place during subsequent handling until the clip and leadframe undergo solder reflow to effect an electrical connection sufficient to handle the current load and a also effect a reliable mechanical connection. One or more solder-holding pockets are formed a surface portion of the tub and/or the end of the clip that is received in the tub so that a volume of liquefied solder formed during the solder reflow step will effect alignment of any mis-aligned parts by “drawing” at least one of the parts against a “stop” surface.05-14-2009
20110033724Tie-Bar Configuration For Leadframe Type Carrier Strips - A conductive clip having a riser or post formed along a side thereof includes a notch or opening formed in the riser or post to create a first riser or post section and second riser or post section separated by the notch or opening through which a tiebar extends. The conductive clip organization is will suited for formation as elongated strips of such conductive clips for automated machine assembly of the conductive clips in an integrated circuit package context.02-10-2011

20100218522OIL RETURN SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ACTIVE CHARGE CONTROL IN AN AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - An active charge control (ACC) in an air conditioner has a first portion of refrigerant passing into a compressor and a second portion held within the ACC. The first portion is substantially vapor and the second portion substantially liquid. Lubricant is included in both portions for lubricating the compressor. A lubricant mechanism includes a heat exchanger having a primary pathway thermally connected with the compressor and a secondary pathway operable between the ACC and the compressor. The secondary pathway transfers the refrigerant second portion to the compressor. The fluid inlet of the compressor retains liquid refrigerant. The secondary pathway delivers the refrigerant and the lubricant from the ACC to the compressor such that heat energy from the primary pathway is transmitted to the liquid refrigerant and lubricant in the secondary pathway evaporating the refrigerant in the secondary pathway such that refrigerant vapor and lubricant are sent to the compressor.09-02-2010
