20080236834 | WIRELINE BAILING SYSTEM FOR REMOVING LARGE VOLUMES OF LIQUID FROM A BOREHOLE - An electrical wireline conveyed baling system for removing large volumes of liquids from a well borehole with a single trip of a bailer tool string. The system also utilizes one or more blow out preventers thereby allowing wireline bailing operations to be carried out while controlling well pressure. A bailer tool string that is conveyed by the wireline comprises a tool head containing a pump, at least one carrier section, and a no-return valve. Once deployed in the borehole, a first signal transmitted via the wireline from the surface activates the pump thereby reducing pressure within the carrier section. A second signal transmitted via the wireline from the surface opens the no-return valve thereby allowing liquid to flow from the borehole into the carrier section. The bailer tool string containing liquid is subsequently retrieved via the wireline thereby removing liquid from the borehole. A plurality of carrier sections can be axially stacked and deployed thereby increasing liquid bailing capacity while still maintaining well pressure control. | 10-02-2008 |

20120118179 | METHOD OF ASSEMBLING A BALING APPARATUS - A method of assembling a manually operated baling apparatus for compacting and bailing, comprising steps of arranging an upstanding sidewall on a base, the side wall comprising a rear side wall flanked by two lateral sidewalls, positioning a front wall between the sidewalls and applying front wall to sidewall fixing means to secure the front wall to the side walls to thereby form a chamber defined by the base, the rear side wall, the two lateral side walls and the front wall, arranging a box section member on an outer face of the rear wall and connecting compaction means to the box section member, which components may be inter-stacked as a kit for transporting in a substantially flat pack arrangement prior to assembly. | 05-17-2012 |

20080288913 | Software Cinema - The invention comprises a system and method for employing video in development processes. A new theory of operation for mapping video to formal models is disclosed. The present invention combines a runtime component and an object memory with an transformer component and offers several inputs and outputs. At least one capture device allows input of video. Video is structurally decomposed into shots and annotated following a semiology-based video model and stored in object memory. A runtime component determines the shots that are played back on one or more displays. A spectator may influence the runtime component by changing its state via at least one controller. One or more downstream development processes can access the object memory to extract customary models for requirements specification. The present invention can play a useful role for development teams that are distributed over large areas by providing common reference points in shots representing the application domain. Our invention thus aids in bridging the gap between envisioned reality and implemented systems. Employing video increases the buy-in of all stakeholders and offers better grounds for making design trade-offs by offering potential end-user to explore possible design alternatives during development. It is also more natural to said end-users than judging established models in format notations for requirements specification and ultimately enhances the quality of the entire development process. | 11-20-2008 |

20090158972 | Knockdown pallet structure, and method of erecting and knocking-down the same - A new and improved knockdown pallet structure comprises a relatively flexible base panel which is fabricated from a suitable woven plastic material, such as, for example, polypropylene, and a pair of laterally spaced, longitudinally extending pockets are secured upon undersurface portions of the base panel so as to accommodate rigid support members, which may comprise rigid thermoplastic tubes or pipes, for accommodating the fork tines of a forklift truck when a pallet structure, having a palletized load disposed thereon, is to be lifted and transported. A pair of semi-rigid cross-brace members are respectively pivotally secured at first end portions thereof upon the pallet structure so as to be movable between a first operative position, at which the pair of semi-rigid cross-brace members will be disposed in a longitudinally spaced, laterally oriented mode, and a second position at which the pair of semi-rigid cross-brace members will be disposed in a laterally spaced, longitudinally oriented mode so as to be disposed parallel to the laterally spaced, longitudinally extending rigid support members in order to permit the entire pallet structure to be rolled up, folded, or otherwise knocked-down, for compact storage and transportation purposes. | 06-25-2009 |
