20110020095BINDING SYSTEM WITH BINDING MACHINE AND BINDING ELEMENTS - A binding system for binding a stack of sheets with a binding element includes a binding machine having an indicia associated with an operation to be performed in binding the stack of sheets, and at least one binding element having an indicia corresponding to the indicia on the binding machine.01-27-2011
20110150605BINDING MACHINE - A binding machine includes a body, an actuator coupled with the body, and a punch mechanism housed in the body for punching a stack of sheets upon actuation of the actuator. The punch mechanism includes a plate including a plurality of punch pins. The punch pins are configured to punch through the stack of sheets during a punch stroke, the punch stroke defining a force profile. A portion of the force profile defined from a first drop in force to a last peak force before a final decrease has no more than a 15 percent change in force relative to a normalized maximum force of the force profile.06-23-2011

20090244517METHOD FOR EVALUATING PURITY AND CONCENTRATION OF OILS AND FATTY ACID COMPOSITIONS - Methods for evaluation of fish oil, oils, omega-3 fatty acid compositions, and dietary supplements containing omega-3 essential fatty acids and other fats are provided herein. The relative purity and/or concentration of oil-containing aliquots can be determined by cooling approximately equal volumes of two or more aliquots to a temperature near or below 0 degrees Celsius. When cooled, the most opaque aliquots are the least pure. The invention also provide a method for determining whether an omega-3 fatty acid supplement is greater than 90% pure, which includes cooling the supplement to less than 0 degrees Celsius and a determining that the supplement is 90% pure if its appearance is essentially unchanged from its appearance and room temperature.10-01-2009

20120288120POWER SUPPLY WITH RECTIFIER PROTECTION - An apparatus for driving speakers includes user-configurable amplifier cells for driving selected speakers, a synchronous rectifier circuit, and a control system. Each cell connects between power rails. The rectifier circuit provides current on the rails for consumption by the cells. The current depends on the configuration. The control system implements a model of the rectifier circuit and cells and uses it to control an audio input signal in response to information concerning electrical outputs of the amplifier cells. This indirectly limits current drawn from the synchronous rectifier circuit.11-15-2012
