20110113988PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING CEMENT CLINKER IN A PLANT, AND CEMENT CLINKER MANUFACTURING PLANT AS SUCH - The invention relates to a process for manufacturing cement clinker in a plant having a cyclone preheater, a precalcination reactor, a rotary furnace and a clinker cooler. In the process, the flue gases from the furnace are conducted to the precalcination reactor, or even to the cyclone preheater. According to the invention, the precalcination reactor is fed with an oxygen-rich gas, the nitrogen content of which is less than 30%, constituting the sole oxygen source for said reactor, and a portion leaving the cyclone preheater is recycled into the plant so as to obtain a suitable flux necessary for suspending matter in said preheater, while the other portion, rich in carbon dioxide, is adapted for the purpose of a treatment for limiting the amount of carbon dioxide discharged into the atmosphere, such as particularly sequestration.05-19-2011

20100133369GRAIN SIZE SELECTION AND/OR MATTER DRYING APPARATUS - A grain size and/or pulverulent-matter drying apparatus for the treatment of suspended mineral particles, at least 90% in weight of which have a size less than 60 mm, primarily includes a substantially vertical gas pipe with an ascending flow provided with a gas inlet, a lower opening and an upper opening between which a supply opening is also provided for insertion of matter. A portion of the matter, or so-called “fines”, can escape with the gas through the upper opening due to the bearing capacity of the ascending flow, while another coarser portion of the matter is not carried away by the gas and falls into the lower opening. The apparatus also has a device for creating turbulence, which favors the separation of the different grain sizes and the suspension of matter, provided at the internal wall of the pipe and located between the lower opening and the supply opening.06-03-2010

20110138269METHODS FOR CONVERTING MEDICAL DOCUMENTS AND CORRESPONDING DEVICES AND COMPUTER SOFTWARE - A method is provided for converting a source document portrayed in a source format and at least one associated metadatum portrayed in the source format or in a format enabling metadata generation in the source format, into at least one destination document portrayed in a destination format. The source format is compliant with a first protocol for exchanging and/or sharing non-image medical documents, and the destination format is compliant with a second protocol for exchanging and/or sharing medical imaging documents. The method includes the following steps: inserting the source document into a first portion of the destination document; transposing the at least one metadatum into transposed data; and inserting the transposed data into a second portion of the destination document that is different from the first portion.06-09-2011
20110150420METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STORING MEDICAL DATA, METHOD AND DEVICE FOR VIEWING MEDICAL DATA, CORRESPONDING COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCTS, SIGNALS AND DATA MEDIUM - A method and apparatus are provided for storing medical data comprising at least one fixed image, termed a significant image, and a video sequence to which the significant image belongs. The method includes: tagging of at least one significant image in the video sequence acquired; determination of at least one item of time synchronization information, representative of the position of the significant image in the video sequence, as a function of a synchronization reference; generation of at least two medical imaging information objects, according to a predetermined standard, including a first object, termed the video object, and at least one second object, termed the significant image object; and storage and/or transmission of the medical imaging information objects and of the time synchronization information.06-23-2011

20120035973COMPUTERIZED DYNAMIC CAPACITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD - A computerized system and method facilitates the collection, calculation, and analysis of supplier capacity data. Using portal technology, communications between the manufacturer and suppliers related to capacity data are facilitated. The system and method accommodate numerous supplier manufacturing processes and their unique configurations so that consistent “standard’ and “maximum” capacity values may be calculated. The portal supports data entry to quickly, efficiently, and accurately identify capacity constraints at the process and part number levels, create solutions, and monitor the implementation of solutions to increase capacity. Using dynamic calculation logic, fluctuating demand values for parts are considered in determining probable capacity values. The impact of various investments on production capacity may also be assessed. The manufacturer may further use capacity constraint data to adjust production to sales or market changes and to align production with capacity.02-09-2012

20110082506CERVICAL PLATE ASSEMBLY - An implantable cervical plate assembly for stabilization of two adjacent spinal vertebras includes a cervical plate and one or more bone fasteners. The cervical plate comprises an elongated asymmetric body having a first straight side surface, a second contoured side surface opposite to the first side surface, front and back surfaces and top and bottom surfaces. The elongated asymmetric body comprises one or more through-openings extending from the front surface to the back surface of the elongated asymmetric body. The one or more bone fasteners are configured to be inserted through the one or more through-openings, respectively, and to be attached to locations in the spinal vertebras, thereby attaching the cervical plate to the spinal vertebras. The through-openings comprise a first diameter at the front surface of the elongated body, a second diameter at the back surface of the elongated body and a third diameter in the area between the front and back surfaces of the elongated body. The first diameter is smaller than the third diameter, thereby forming a lip at the top of the through-openings. The third diameter is larger than the second diameter and the first diameter is larger than the second diameter, thereby forming a groove within the perimeter of the inner wall of the through-openings. The bone fasteners comprise a threaded main body and a head. The threaded main body comprises threads for engaging the spinal vertebras and the head comprises one or more flexible structures configured to be flexed and inserted into the groove and then unflex and remain captured within the groove.04-07-2011
