20110061331PAVING STONE DEVICE AND METHOD - A paving assembly comprises a set of artificial paving stones held in position relative to each other by a membrane. The membrane has a set of connecting members extending from one stone to an adjacent stone. The membrane also has a set of protruding members that extend from the connecting members into the stones. The membrane may be a unitary structure with the protruding and connecting members cast of molded together. The connecting members may be located generally within a plane below the stones. To make the assembly, the set of stones may be cast inverted into a mold, the membrane laid across the bottom surface of the stones, and the protruding members pressed into the stones before they cure.03-17-2011

20110078811COTTON VARIETY FM 9160B2F - The cotton variety FM 9160B2F is disclosed. The invention relates to seeds, plants, plant cells, plant tissue, harvested products and cotton lint as well as to hybrid cotton plants and seeds obtained by repeatedly crossing plants of variety FM 9160B2F with other plants. The invention also relates to plants and varieties produced by the method of essential derivation from plants of FM 9160B2F and to plants of FM 9160B2F reproduced by vegetative methods, including but not limited to tissue culture of regenerable cells or tissue from FM 9160B2F.03-31-2011

20090250296Lubrication and scavenge system - A lubrication and scavenge system for a gas turbine, capable continued operation in nose-down or nose-up orientations, has a number of oil drainage passages to return oil to one or more collection chambers adjacent a rolling element bearing. A rotary impellor in the chamber forces the oil into a scavenge off-take passageway in the chamber wall leading to a scavenge pump. However, in some orientations windage effects in the chamber can return the oil to the drainage passage rather than permitting the impellor to centrifuge it into the off-take passageway. As a result oil starvation may occur. To avoid this and improve scavenging a shield is located between the drainage path and the off-take passageway adjacent to a face of the impellor. The shield may comprise an additional member, but preferably is formed integrally with a bearing race so as to ease assembly.10-08-2009

20090048394FAST-CURING MODIFIED SILOXANE COMPOSITIONS - Fast-curing modified siloxane compositions comprise; (1) an alkoxy- or silanol-functional silicone intermediate, (2) at least one amine reactive ingredient selected from the group consisting of acetoacetate-functional ingredients, acrylate-functional ingredients, and mixtures thereof, (3) an epoxy-functional ingredient, (4) a curing agent selected from the group consisting of amines, aminosilanes, ketimines, aldimines and mixtures thereof, and (5) water. Other ingredients useful in forming fast-curing modified siloxane compositions of this invention include silanes, organometallic catalysts, solvents, pigments, fillers and modifying agents. The above-identified ingredients are combined and reacted to form a fully cured protective film comprising a cross-linked enamine polysiloxane and/or acrylate polysiloxane chemical structure in a reduced amount of time when compared to conventional epoxy siloxane compositions.02-19-2009

20110048701WELL SEALS - A method for determining integrity of annular seals in wellbores. In an embodiment, two wellbores are selected that extend through a common geological formation which is capable of sealing against casing sections located in the wellbores. A pressure test is typically carried out in a first of the wellbores to check that the formation provides an effective seal, and a logging tool is typically run to obtain well log data from which can be derived a characteristic response that is associated with the formation providing an effective annular seal around the casing section in the first wellbore. A logging tool may then be run in the second of the wellbores to obtain a second set of well log data, which are comparable with the characteristic response to determine whether the formation provides an effective annular seal in the second wellbore.03-03-2011

20100276955TREATMENT OF RAILWAY WHEELS - A method of treating a steel railway wheels to form a required distribution of compressive residual stress in the rim. In general terms the wheel heated and then quenched from the plate towards the rim. The wheel is first heated to form austenite throughout the plate and rim portions. The wheel is then cooled to form bainite/martensite in the plate portion. The wheel is cooled to form bainite/martensite in an inner portion of the rim. The wheel is cooled to form bainite/martensite in an outer portion of the rim.11-04-2010
