20110265064DETECTING, USING, AND SHARING IT DESIGN PATTERNS AND ANTI-PATTERNS - Various embodiments described and illustrated herein include at least one of systems, methods, and software to identify, use, or share patterns and anti-patterns. Embodiments that include pattern and anti-pattern identification operate to identify candidate patterns and anti-patterns within a deployed system and to confirm or receive confirmation that the identified candidates are indeed patterns or anti-patterns. Embodiments that use patterns and anti-patterns operate to consume the identified patterns and anti-patterns to improve system performance. The embodiments that share patterns and anti-patterns include mechanisms whereby patterns and anti-patterns can be sent to and received from other systems.10-27-2011
20110270804AGILE RE-ENGINEERING OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS - Various embodiments described and illustrated herein include at least one of systems, methods, and software to identify and resolve violations of system and process performance measuring metrics. Following identification of such a violation, some embodiments may identify and cause a solution to be implemented. Following implementation of a solution, the violated metrics are again applied and the results evaluated to verify resolution of the metric violation. Some embodiments may repeat this process until the metric violation or violations are resolved.11-03-2011

20090013671Injection device for reagent - An injection device for administering a reagent into an exhaust chamber of an internal combustion engine, comprising a device inlet and a device outlet and a sub-assembly held securely within a device housing. The sub-assembly comprises (i) valve housing defining a valve seat, (ii) valve means movable outwardly from the valve housing, away from the valve seat, to permit the reagent to be delivered into the exhaust chamber through the device outlet, whereby a force is applied to the valve means due to reagent delivered to the device inlet which serves to urge the valve means away from the valve seat, and (iii) bias means for applying a biasing force to the valve means which serves to urge the valve means against the valve seat so as to prevent delivery of the reagent through the device outlet into the exhaust chamber. The device housing is a separate part from the valve housing and has a housing bore within which the valve housing is held securely so as to hold the sub-assembly securely within the device housing.01-15-2009

20080314236Door seal assembly for armored vehicles - A door seal assembly for an armored vehicle includes a first flange extending around the periphery of a door panel and protruding from a cab-facing side thereof. The first flange extends toward the exterior surface of the armored vehicle when the door panel is in a secured-closed condition. A second flange also protrudes from the cab-facing side of the door panel and extends into the opening of the armored vehicle when the door panel is in the secured-closed condition. The second flange being nested within the first flange and spaced-apart therefrom so as to form a channel between the first flange and the second flange and extending around the door panel along the cab-facing side thereof. A third flange protrudes from the exterior surface of the armored vehicle and extends about the opening thereof. The third flange is received within the channel that is defined between the first flange and the second flange when the door panel is in the secured-closed condition. During use, a blast wave resulting from a detonation beside the armored vehicle is redirected plural times as it passes by the first, second and third flanges before entering the cab interior.12-25-2008
