20100234741SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING SLEEPINESS - The present invention relates to a drowsiness detection method. A heartbeat signal and a breathing signal are detected by exploiting together a scheme and an optical system scheme. The detected signals are applied to respective amplification units, noise signals are eliminated from the detected signals, and noise-free signals are amplified. The amplified signals are applied to a central processing unit, signal processing is processed on the signals, and processed signals are combined. The combined signal is counted, and a warning sound, voice message or vibration is output in a case where a value, obtained by subtracting a counted output value monitored one minute before a current time, from a counted output value monitored two minutes before the current time, falls within a detection range and where, with a passage of time, the value falling within the detection range is successively detected from two to ten times.09-16-2010
20110008824DEVICE AND METHOD OF BACTERIA DETECTION - A bacteria measurement device and method are provided, which separate bacteria from a target object and attach the bacteria to an antibody with fluorescein isothiocyanate applied thereto, generate light using a light emitting unit, and excite the fluorescein isothiocyanate, and in which the excited fluorescein isothiocyanate secondarily emits light, and a light receiving unit receives a light output signal generated through the secondary emission, converts the light output signal into an electrical signal, and converts an analog signal which is the electrical signal into a digital signal, thus measuring the amount and type of bacteria.01-13-2011
20110175769Microwave Sensor - Microwave sensor includes an oscillator for generating microwave signals, a power divider for dividing the microwave signals, an antenna for transmitting the divided microwave signals to an outside of the microwave sensor and receiving microwave signals reflected from an object, and a mixer for detecting differences between the microwave signals received through the antenna and the signals input from the power divider and outputting Intermediate Frequency (IF) signals. The antenna includes a ground plate, an antenna pin located at a center of the ground plate, and a metallic wall formed along a circumference of the ground plate. Accordingly, the microwave sensor is advantageous in that it has uniform gain characteristics regardless of an azimuth angle by using a single antenna, functioning as both transmitting and receiving antennas, and a circuit for operating the antenna.07-21-2011

20090154834RENDERING SYSTEM AND DATA PROCESSING METHOD FOR THE SAME - The rendering system for rendering input image data to composite an image includes an image input unit, an image rendering unit, an image compositing unit. The image input unit subdivides input image data into data segments of a size corresponding to the memory capacity of the rendering system to load the data segments one at a time. The image rendering unit renders the data segments in sequence, and sequentially stores rendering pixel information associated with the rendered results in a buffer. The image compositing unit compares two pieces of stored rendering pixel information to each other as previous rendering pixel information and current rendering pixel information, updates rendering pixel information according to the comparison result, and composites a final image according to the updated rendering pixel information.06-18-2009
20100128032RENDERING APPARATUS FOR CYLINDRICAL OBJECT AND RENDERING METHOD THEREFOR - A rendering apparatus for performing rendering of cylindrical objects includes: a data input unit image transmitting rendering data of individuals of the cylindrical objects which are classified by thickness when three dimensional model data of the cylindrical objects is input; a first rendering unit for performing an alpha line rendering for thin individuals of the cylindrical objects which are classified by thickness; and a second rendering unit for performing a ribbon triangulation rendering for thick individuals of the cylindrical objects which are classified by thickness. Further, the rendering apparatus includes a storage for integrating first rendering result data transmitted from the first rendering unit with second rendering result data transmitted from the second rendering unit to transmit final rendering result data; and a rendering output unit for outputting the final rendering result data.05-27-2010
20100157081RENDERING SYSTEM AND DATA PROCESSING METHOD USING SAME - A rendering system includes a data input unit for reading depth information of a deep render buffer obtained by rendering; a camera lens sampling unit for sampling surface data of a lens provided in a camera; a deep render buffer reconstruction unit referring to pixel location information of the deep render buffer to reconstruct a deep render buffer at a new camera position, wherein the camera position corresponds to a sampling result from the camera lens sampling unit. The rendering system further includes a render image generation unit for generating a render image at the camera position from the reconstructed deep render buffer; and an image accumulation unit for accumulating the render image at the camera position.06-24-2010
20110050694SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RENDERING HAIR IMAGE - Provided are a system and method for rendering hair image which smoothly and vividly render a fiber type of long and slim object like hair when creating 3D content. The system includes a sampling point setting module, a transparency determination module and a color value determination module. The sampling point setting module sets a plurality of sampling points in a hair geometry region. The transparency determination module determines transparency of a pixel the hair geometry region, on the basis of the sampling point. The color value determination module determines a color value of the pixel on the basis of shading values for each of the sampling points.03-03-2011
20110149042METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GENERATING A STEREOSCOPIC IMAGE - Provided is a method for generating stereoscopic image fedback by the interaction with a real world. Even though the method according to the related art interacts the user with the virtual object or forms the stereoscopic image without interacting with the object in the user space by controlling the virtual object using a separate apparatus, the present invention feedbacks the interaction between all the object in the user space including the object and users in the virtual space to the video reproducing system to implement a system for re-processing and reproducing the stereoscopic image, thereby making it possible to produce realistic stereoscopic image.06-23-2011
