Each pixel electrode is connected between one TFT and the electrophoretic ink layer, first path terminals of all of the TFTs are connected to a power source driver, control terminals of all of the TFTs are connected to a gate driver. A transparent electrode is formed between the upper substrate and the electrophoretic ink layer. The electrophoretic ink layer includes a plurality of tubular cavities connected between the transparent electrode and the pixel electrodes, each tubular cavity contains a plurality of charged pigment particles.
