HIGH EFFICIENCY STOVE - A high efficiency stove has a chamber attached to a base. The chamber is liquid tight and holds liquid fuel such as alcohol within. At least one heat conductor is provided to capture heat and redirect it back into the fuel to increase the gasification process required for combustion. This heat is normally lost in conventional stoves. This greatly increases the efficiency of the stove and allows small size stoves to have a heat output superior to conventional stoves. In one embodiment, removable heat conductors are used to adjust heat output. In another embodiment an adjustment sleeve is used that effectively changes the height of the chamber to adjust output. Another embodiment utilizes an outer sleeve that rotates to open and close at least one airflow opening provided for that purpose. One embodiment includes cooking support legs that allows a user to use a pot or pan. | 12-08-2011

Method And System For Disseminating Time-Sensitive Economic Data To Market Participants - A system and method for disseminating time-sensitive economic information to one or more clients is disclosed. The system includes a computer system and at least one database in communication with the computer system. The database includes a number of XML templates having fields corresponding to one or more economic indicators. The system further includes software executing on the computer system for encoding the XML templates into binary packets, and simultaneously transmitting the binary packets to clients in communication with the computer system via UDP multicast. In some embodiments the system includes software for validating the data entered into the XML templates and for confirming the accuracy of the data included in the binary packet. A method in accordance with the present system is also enclosed. | 11-05-2009

EMOTIVE ADVISORY SYSTEM AND METHOD - Information about a device may be emotively conveyed to a user of the device. Input indicative of an operating state of the device may be received. The input may be transformed into data representing a simulated emotional state. Data representing an avatar that expresses the simulated emotional state may be generated and displayed. A query from the user regarding the simulated emotional state expressed by the avatar may be received. The query may be responded to. | 10-30-2008

Angled tripped airfoil peanut cavity - A turbine airfoil comprises a wall portion, a cooling channel, an impingement rib, impingement rib nozzles, turbulators and leading edge cooling holes. The wall portion comprises a leading edge, a trailing edge, an outer diameter end, and an inner diameter end. The cooling channel receives cooling air and extends through an interior of the wall portion between the inner diameter end and the outer diameter end. The impingement rib is positioned within the wall portion forward of the cooling channel and between the outer diameter end and the inner diameter end to define a peanut cavity. The impingement rib nozzles extend through the impingement rib for receiving cooling air from the cooling channel. The turbulators are positioned within the peanut cavity to locally influence the flow of the cooling air. The leading edge cooling holes discharge the cooling air from the peanut cavity to an exterior of the wall portion. | 02-19-2009
COOLING CIRCUIT FLOW PATH FOR A TURBINE SECTION AIRFOIL - A cooled airfoil includes an impingement rib having a multiple of openings which supply a cooling airflow from a cooling circuit flow path toward an airfoil leading edge. The multiple of openings are offset in the impingement rib opposite an outer airfoil wall which includes gill holes. Offsetting the multiple of openings opposite an outer airfoil wall which includes the gill holes focuses the cooling airflow across turbulators to increase the cooling airflow dwell time to increase the thermal transfer therefrom in higher temperature airfoil areas. | 03-19-2009
