20080207503Composition and Treatment Methods for Coronary Artery Disease - The present disclosure demonstrates that cholesterol-free discoidal reconstituted HDL (R-HDL), phosphatidyl-choline (PC) and PC liposomes effectively released cholesterol from ICP. Native HDL and its apolipoproteins were not able to release cholesterol from ICP. The release of ICP cholesterol by R-HDL was dose-dependent and accompanied by the transfer of >8× more PC in the reverse direction (i.e., from R-HDL to ICP), resulting in a marked enrichment of ICP with PC. The enrichment of ICP with PC resulted in the dissolution of cholesterol crystals on ICP and allowed the removal of ICP cholesterol by apo HDL and plasma. The present disclosure provides a method of treatment for removal of cholesterol from ICP in vivo and compositions for use in such method of treatment. Such methods may be used in the treatment and/or prevention of atherosclerosis, coronary artery disease, and related disease states and conditions.08-28-2008

20110262460BLOOD-BRAIN BARRIER TARGETING ANTIBODIES - This invention provides antibodies that bind brain endothelial cell receptors resulting in endocytosis/transcytosis of the receptor and bound ligands. In some embodiments, the ligand comprises the antibody in combination with a pharmaceutically active compound and the antibody directs delivery of the compound across the blood brain barrier (BBB). The invention also provides methods of identifying endothelial cell specific antibodies by panning the library against cultured cell monolayers. The invention further allows for identifying endothelial cell receptors that bind the antibody thereby providing target receptors against which to isolate further cognate ligands and their associated transport systems and by which to identify transcytosis transporters targeted by the antibodies.10-27-2011

20100191951PROVISIONED FIRMWARE UPDATES USING OBJECT IDENTIFIERS - Methods, devices, and systems are provided for remotely updating provisioning data in devices or a population of devices. An update message is generated that includes an Object Identifier (OID) that uniquely identifies eligible devices or components for the provisioning data update. If an eligible device receives the update message, then the new provisioning data is loaded on the device, thereby replacing the old provisioning data on the device.07-29-2010
