20100297206Antimicrobial Upconversion System - Antimicrobial articles, systems, and methods may be used for killing, inactivating, and/or inhibiting microorganisms. The antimicrobial articles and systems utilize up-conversion luminescence wherein a phosphor or luminescent material is capable of absorbing visible, infrared light, or longer wavelength radiation and emitting antimicrobial ultraviolet radiation via upconversion thus inhibiting the growth of, inhibiting the reproduction of or killing or otherwise inactivating microorganisms such as, but not limited to, spores, bacteria, fungi, mildew, mold, and algae. Embodiments of the antimicrobial article or system may comprise such a luminescent material and thus will have antimicrobial activity when exposed to natural or artificial light.11-25-2010

20080227545Apparatus and method for digitization of human motion for virtual gaming - Handheld apparatus and method to provide control over virtual figures and elements within a computer rendered environment. Motion capturing sensors output acceleration vector signals. After digitization and storage of these vector signals into data packets, the packets are wirelessly transmitted to the receiver device. The receiver device transfers the digitized packets to a computer or a video game console. A rendering application resident on the console utilizes the received vector data to move the graphical elements on the display. Unique computation of the acceleration vectors result in realistic and real-time human movement in a computer generated three-dimensional environment. Employment of multiple independent handheld apparatuses provides more precise simulation of human motion in a virtual environment.09-18-2008

20090057262Bottle cap with additive supplying structure - A bottle cap including an additive holding unit which is supported in a mouth of a bottle has in a lower portion thereof an opening for discharging the additive, and is open at the top. An open-and-shut unit is seated to be coaxial with the additive holding unit and moves up and down to open or shut the opening. An outer cap unit includes a sealing tube which is placed between the open-and-shut unit and the additive holding unit and performs a sealing function. A skirt having a forgery preventing function is integrally provided on a lower end of the outer cap body. A delay hook retains the skirt for a period when the opening is opened, thus delaying separation of the skirt.03-05-2009
20090184083Bottle cap - Disclosed herein is a bottle cap. The bottle cap includes an inner lower cap which is coupled to a bottle and has on a lower end thereof a protruding breaking part, an inner upper cap which is coupled to an upper portion of the inner lower cap and moves a push cap downwards through a screw-type fastening method when the inner upper cap is rotated, and the push cap which serves as an additive holding member and has on a bottom thereof a thin-plate-type stopper. The bottle cap includes an outer protective cap which has a support tube therein so that the inner upper cap is fitted into the support tube in such a way as to rotate along with the outer protective cap, and covers an upper end of the inner upper cap and a surface of the bottle. A frictional vibration plate rubs against a frictional plate of the outer protective cap to produce sound of friction, thus indicating a time at which an additive starts to drop into the bottle, because the thin-plate-type stopper is broken, when the inner upper cap moves the push cap down, so that the push and turn screw is disengaged from the hook screw and the inner upper cap moves up.07-23-2009
20110108442BOTTLE - The present invention relates to a bottle, which contains two kinds of materials separately in two spaces in a bottle body and communicates the separated spaces with each other as necessary so that the two materials can be mixed together. This bottle has a bottle body having a mouth; an additive storage container including an insertion part inserted into the mouth, an exposed part, exposed outside the mouth and an additive storage space defined therein; an opening unit tightened to the mouth; and separation means for separating the additive storage container from the bottle body. The bottle saves resources and prevents deterioration in the properties in the material and additive. A user can mix the material and additive at a precise ratio, thus preventing their chemical and physical properties from deteriorating. The additive storage container can be completely removed from the bottle body.05-12-2011
