With the present method, an initial position is defined and the mobile robot is controlled to move within the periphery area from the initial position. Next, the latest image is captured when the mobile robot moves, and a manipulating order is arranged according to the distances estimated between the mobile robot and each of target objects in the image. The mobile robot is controlled to move and perform a manipulating action on each of the target object in the image according to the manipulating order. The steps of obtaining the image, planning the manipulating order, and controlling the mobile robot to perform the manipulating action are repeated until the mobile robot returns to the initial position.11-25-2010

In the present method, an image capturing device is moved according to a maneuver rule, wherein the image capturing device captures an image continuously during the movement. Then whether a placard exists in the image or not is determined. If a placard exists in the image, a content of the placard is identified and a corresponding action is executed. In the present method, a music score is detected and at least one measure in the music score is obtained by searching bar lines, so as to plan a recognition order according to the position of each measure in the music score. Next, an image capturing apparatus is controlled to capture one of the measures according to the recognition order, and music information in the captured measure is recognized and outputted immediately. In the present method, an image containing the upper body of the user is captured and a hand area in the image is obtained. The hand area is fully scanned by a first couple of concentric circles. During the scanning, a proportion of a number of skin color pixels on an inner circumference of the first couple of concentric circles and a proportion of a number of skin color pixels on an outer circumference of the first couple of concentric circles are used to determine a number of fingertips in the hand area. The gesture is recognized by the number of fingertips and an operation function of the electronic product is executed according to an operating instruction corresponding to the recognized gesture.12-30-2010

If the quadrangle is the marker, an identity of the marker and four vertice coordinates of a marker image are identified. A rotation state of the marker is determined according to the vertex coordinates of the marker image, and a relative displacement between the marker and the image capturing unit is calculated. With the method, during a process of scanning an image for the first time, each object pixel in the image is assigned a temporary label, and a relationship between each temporary label and a representative label is established after the completion of the process of scanning the image for the first time. Thereafter, the temporary label of each object pixel is replaced by the corresponding representative label during a process of scanning the image for the second time.
