20090017683ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR - An electrical connector includes an insulating body, a plurality of pins, and two connecting bases. The insulating body has a body portion and a connecting portion. The body portion has two receiving spaces. Each pin has a contacting portion and a piercing portion. The pins are disposed in an upper row and a lower row and are installed in the insulating body. The contacting portions extend to the connecting portion of the insulating body. The piercing portions extend into the two receiving spaces. Each connecting base has a plurality of wire slots. Each wire slot is connected with a guiding slot. The two connecting bases are installed in the two receiving spaces. The piercing portions pass through the guiding slots and enter into the wire slots to electrically connect with the conducting wires. Thereby, the manufacturing process is simplified, the cost is reduced, and the environment protection is achieved.01-15-2009
20090257202EXPENDABLE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR - An expendable electrical connector uses a plurality of modular housings sequentially assembled for receiving receptacle assemblies. The expendable electrical connector does not use dedicated moulds for different numbers of the receptacle assemblies and cost is decreased. Two neighboring modular housings share a side plate so that total length of the expendable electrical connector will be shortened and cost will also be decreased. Each of the modular housings may be made from a metallic sheet by punching process, and used to cover each of the receptacle assemblies and the modular housings can be connected with each other. The modular housings provide a good performance of grounding and shielding electromagnetic interference without dedicated grounding steps for individual receptacle assemblies.10-15-2009
20090258536ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR - An electrical connector includes a mount plate and a metallic housing. The metallic housing includes a metallic frame and at least one hook-shaped rib which extend from the metallic frame and are used to hold the mount plate. The mount plate is made of low-cost material to replace expensive side tab extending from the metallic housing. Thus, size of mould for the metallic housing is decreased, scraps is fewer and cost is lowered.10-15-2009
20100167571ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR - An electrical connector includes an insulated body having an insert face formed with a plurality of terminal holes, a mounting face, a fixing member and a plurality of terminals. The insert face is dented inwardly so as to form a plug reception chamber in spatial communication with the terminal holes. A fixing element extends outwardly and downwardly from the insulated body. The fixing member is integrally formed with the mounting face of the insulated body via an injection molding process such that the fixing element of the insulated body is integrally formed with the fixing member. The terminals includes a row of terminals, each having an embed section embedded within the fixing member along an extension direction via an insert-molding process and a contact section projecting from one end of the front embed section through a respective one of the terminal holes and so as to be retained within the plug reception chamber in the insulated body.07-01-2010
20100167594ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR - An electrical connector includes a positioning member; an insulated main body enclosing the positioning member from above and a plurality of terminals. Each terminal has a contact section embedded within a tongue plate of the insulated main body and an inclined section embedded partially within the positioning member via an insert-molding process. When the inclined section is further bent relative to the contact section, the uniform spacing and alignment among the terminals is maintained precisely due to the insert-molding process of the terminals in the insulated main body and the positioning member.07-01-2010
20100311253ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF - An electrical connector includes a fixing member having a support seat; a plurality of terminals, each having an embed section embedded within the fixing member along an extension direction via an insert-molding process and a contact section exposing from the support seat of the fixing member; and an insulated body for seating on the support seat of the fixing member. The insulated body has an insert face formed with a plurality of terminal holes. The insert face is dented inwardly so as to form a plug reception chamber in spatial communication with the terminal holes. When the insulated body is seated on the support seat of the fixing member, the contact sections of the terminals pass through the terminal holes in the insulated body and are retained within the plug reception chamber.12-09-2010
20110014817ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY AND ADAPTER MODULE - An electrical connector assembly includes a first connector having a plurality of first terminals; a main element for coupling to the first connector, and formed with a terminal recess for reception of the first terminals therein; and an adapter element for coupling to the main element, and including a plurality of adapter terminals. Each adapter terminal has a connecting section that is received in the terminal recess and that is electrically connected to a respective one of the first terminals.01-20-2011
20110143564ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY - An electrical connector assembly includes a terminal holding member having a plurality of terminals, each having a distributing section; a distributing member for coupling the holding member, and formed with first and second rows of retention holes in parallel manner. Each retention hole has an insert hole section and a distributing hole section. Once the holding member is coupled to the distributing member, the terminals extend respectively through the insert hole sections and the distributing hole sections in the terminal distributing member, thereby forming and exposing two parallel rows of the distributing sections of the terminals from a flat end of the terminal distributing member.06-16-2011
20110143597ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY WITH CLAMPING MEMBERS - A connector assembly for holding a memory card provided with two card holes, includes an insulated body, two fixing members projecting from two opposite ends of the insulated body, two supporting elements formed on a front side of the insulated body and two clamping members mounted respectively on the opposite ends of the insulated body. Once the memory card is inserted into the electrical connector assembly, the clamping members cooperatively clamp two opposite ends of the memory card therebetween with the supporting elements extend respectively through the card holes in the memory card.06-16-2011
20110146897ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF - An electrical connector includes a fixing member having a support seat; a plurality of terminals, each having an embed section embedded within the fixing member along an extension direction via an insert-molding process and a contact section exposing from the support seat of the fixing member; and an insulated body for seating on the support seat of the fixing member. The insulated body has an insert face formed with a plurality of terminal holes. The insert face is dented inwardly so as to form a plug reception chamber in spatial communication with the terminal holes. When the insulated body is seated on the support seat of the fixing member, the contact sections of the terminals pass through the terminal holes in the insulated body and are retained within the plug reception chamber.06-23-2011

20090017684Connector and pins thereof - A connector includes an insulating body, a plurality of pins, and two covering bodies. The insulating body has a receiving space, and a plurality of pin slots. Each pin has a contacting portion and a piercing portion. Each covering body has a plurality of wire slots and through holes that respectively link to the wire slots. The pins are respectively installed in the pin sots so that the contacting portions respectively extend into the insulating body. The piercing portions are disposed in a staggering method and extend into the receiving space. When the two covering bodies are combined with the insulating body, the piercing portions respectively pass through the through holes and enter into the wire slots to pierce through the covering layer and electrically connect the conducting wires. Therefore, the insulating body, the covering bodies, and the cable can be easily assembled, and the cost is reduced.01-15-2009
