20100199022INFORMATION ACCESS METHOD WITH SHARING MECHANISM AND COMPUTER SYSTEM - An information access method and a computer system are provided. The computer system includes a system management bus (SMBus), a non-volatile memory, a plurality of hardware devices, a chipset, and a CPU. The hardware devices have a plurality of specific recognition information. The CPU performs a configuration process on the hardware devices through the chipset according to the standard for a SMBus protocol, so as to distribute a plurality of memory spaces in the non-volatile memory to the hardware devices. The hardware devices share the SMBus for accessing the plurality of specific recognition information in the memory spaces.08-05-2010
20100205365HARD DRIVE ACCESSING METHOD AND HARD DRIVE ACCESSING SYSTEM SUPPORTING MAXIMUM TRANSMISSION RATE OF HARD DRIVE - A hard drive assessing method and a hard drive assessing system supporting a maximum transmission rate of a hard drive are provided, wherein the hard drive is accessed by a controller, and both the controller and the hard drive support a plurality of transmission rates. The maximum transmission rate of the hard drive is first obtained. When the controller reads data from the hard drive, the transmission rate of the controller is set to be not lower than the maximum transmission rate, and the transmission rate of the hard drive is maintained at the maximum transmission rate. When the controller writes data into the hard drive, the transmission rate of the controller is reduced to be lower than the maximum transmission rate, and the transmission rate of the hard drive is maintained at the maximum transmission rate. Thereby, the hard drive can be accessed at its maximum transmission rate.08-12-2010

20090254765METHOD FOR POWER MANAGEMENT FOR COMPUTER SYSTEM - The invention provides a method for power management for a computer system. In one embodiment, the computer system comprises a system controller, a chipset, and a battery coupled to the chipset via a system management bus. First, a timer of the chipset is used to calculate an accumulated time value. When the accumulated time value exceeds a threshold value, the chipset is directed to send a system control interrupt to the system controller. After the system controller receives the system control interrupt, the system controller is triggered to detect a power level supplied by the battery via the system management bus.10-08-2009

20090323559Method for predicting a port number of a NAT equipment based on results of inquiring the STUN server twice - We propose a method for predicting a port number of a NAT equipment according to results of inquiring a STUN server twice in this invention. A network terminal device A in a private network sends an inquiry packet to the STUN server before and after sending a hole punching request, acquires two endpoint mappings of the NAT equipment used respectively in the two inquiries from the STUN server, and delivers the endpoint mappings to another network terminal device B in another private network through a SIP server. The network terminal device B predicts a range of port numbers of the NAT equipment probably used when the hole punching request was sent, according to the endpoint mappings and a port differential of the NAT equipment, and sends packets to the predicted port numbers sequentially until a response packet is received from the network terminal device A. Hence, a connection channel is established.12-31-2009

20110280166Apparatuses and Methods for Coordinating Operations Between Circuit Switched (CS) and Packet Switched (PS) Services with Different Subscriber Identity Cards, and Machine-Readable Storage Medium - A wireless communications device is provided with a Baseband chip capable of coordinating operations between circuit switched (CS) and packet switched (PS) services with different subscriber identity cards. The Baseband chip is configured to receive a request for making a mobile originated (MO) call with a first subscriber identity card when performing a background PS data service with a second subscriber identity card. The Baseband chip suspends or terminates the background PS data service in response to the request, and further makes the MO call with the first subscriber identity card when the background PS data service is suspended or terminated.11-17-2011
