20090026232DISPENSING CLOSURE COMPRISING A SAFETY SYSTEM - A dispensing closure for a container that includes closure walls, at least one dispensing aperture, at least one closing element that is movable between a position where the aperture is closed, and a position where the aperture is open. This closure includes at least one actionable member that surrounds the closure walls and the closing element, a spring element disposed between the closing element and the closure walls to force the closing element to close the aperture, a connection device that includes a flexible pouch containing a temperature dependent material, and a catch mechanism. When the temperature is below a predetermined safety temperature the temperature dependent material is rigid enough so that the pouch restrains the catch mechanism in a position where the consumer can open the dispensing aperture by moving the actionable member, but when the temperature of the container is above the safety temperature, the temperature dependent material is sufficiently fluid so that the pouch is compressible to allow movement of the actionable member independently of the closing element, thus preventing a consumer from opening the dispensing aperture.01-29-2009
20090236375DISPENSING CLOSURE COMPRISING A SAFETY SYSTEM - A dispensing closure for a container that includes closure walls, at least one dispensing aperture, at least one closing element that is movable between a position where the aperture is closed, and a position where the aperture is open. This closure includes at least one actionable member that surrounds the closure walls and the closing element, and at least one connection element located between the actionable member and the closing element. The connection element is made of a material that is sufficiently rigid below a predetermined safety temperature, to connect the actionable member and closing element, thus allowing opening of the dispensing aperture by moving the actionable member and fluid above temperature so that the actionable member and closing element are disconnected. A temperature dependent connection material is filled into at least one cavity in the actionable member or in the closing element while the temperature dependent connection material is in its liquid state, and is subsequently cooled to form the connection element.09-24-2009

20080290547Methods of forming muffler preforms - Methods of forming compressed preform products formed from continuous fibers substantially evenly coated with a thermoplastic sizing composition are provided. Applying a thermoplastic sizing composition to continuous fibers during the formation of the fibers enables a preform to be formed without applying any additional sizing or binder compositions at later stages of the manufacturing of the preform. The thermoplastic sizing composition includes a thermoplastic material, and, optionally a silane coupling agent. The thermoplastic material in the thermoplastic sizing composition includes chemicals and/or compounds that are thermoplastic or possess thermoplastic properties. One or more preforms may be randomly inserted to a muffler cavity. Upon the application of heat, the preforms decompress and fill the cavity with fibrous material. Due to the ability to decompress the compressed preform product, the preform product can have a shape that is independent of the shape of the muffler cavity.11-27-2008
20090110822Method for filling a muffler cavity - A method for filling a muffler with a fibrous material is disclosed. The muffler includes partitions which form a first chamber and second chamber, and a first muffler pipe having an outlet end. A filling aperture at one end of the second muffler pipe is positioned in the first muffler chamber. The second muffler pipe has a filling sleeve therein, the filling sleeve having a filling discharge opening that coordinates with the filling aperture of the second muffler pipe. The first muffler chamber is filled with fibrous material by applying a vacuum source to the first muffler pipe, which draws the fibrous material through the filling aperture. The filling aperture of the second muffler pipe is then positioned into the second muffler chamber, and the second muffler chamber is filled in the same manner as the first muffler chamber. The filling sleeve is then removed from the second muffler pipe.04-30-2009

The filling sleeve is then removed from the second muffler pipe.10-06-2011

20080238410AUTO-CALIBRATION OF MAGNETIC SENSOR - The present invention provides a method to compensate for the sensitivity drift of a magnetic field sensor for sensing a magnetic field. The magnetic field sensor comprises at least four electrodes. The method comprises a first step where a first set of two electrodes is used to bias the sensor and a second set of two electrodes is used to sense an output signal of the magnetic field sensor, and a second step where the second set of two electrodes is used to bias the sensor and the first set of two electrodes is used to sense an output signal of the magnetic field sensor. The method is characterized in that at least one of the first or the second step is subdivided in at least a first sub-step and a second sub-step. A reference magnetic field has first magnetic field parameters, e.g. a first amplitude and/or direction, in the first sub-step and second magnetic field parameters, a second amplitude and/or direction, in the second sub-step. An output signal is sensed in the first and in the second step, and within the first or the second step an output signal is sensed in the first and the second sub-step.10-02-2008

20080200124RADIO COEXISTENCE MECHANISM FOR VARIABLE DATA RATE RADIO LINKS - A device has a radio transmitter for a first radio link such as a Bluetooth link, having a coexistence controller arranged to communicate with a co-located other radio transmitter for another radio link, to enable both radio links to use potentially conflicting transmission frequencies. A link monitor monitors the first radio link, according to an output from the coexistence controller. By making the link monitor dependent on the coexistence controller, it can distinguish between transmission losses caused by the coexistence interface, and those caused by other effects, to reduce the risk of a data rate controller unnecessarily reducing a transmission rate if transmission losses caused by the coexistence control are misinterpreted as a drop in link quality.08-21-2008
20080270622METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OPTIMIZING POWER CONSUMPTION AND REDUCING MIPS REQUIREMENTS FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION - The present invention discloses a system and a methodology for enhancing performance during wireless communications by reducing system latency, MIPS requirements and power consumption. The present invention discloses a system and method of wireless data communication in which part of upper layer stack processing is performed on a controller to relieve a host processor of some data intensive operations. After the initial connection establishment phase in which the controller retrieves certain information required for data transmission and stores the same locally, the data source provides data directly to the controller without routing the data through the host. The host is relieved of the data processing that needs to be done while the data is being transferred. Hence, the overall latency of the system is improved because of the optimal routing of data traffic. The host can even go to lower power modes while the controller is performing the data operations on behalf of the upper layer stack thereby saving power consumption of the overall system.10-30-2008
