20100148437GAME APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME - A BOGGLE brand word game apparatus having a plurality of dice enclosed in an interior chamber formed in upper and lower container shells. A dice collector, a lens and a ring shaped collar are connected to the upper container shell, and a ring shaped cam, a dice platform and an alignment plate are mounted to the lower container shell. The collar includes a flange extending from an inner surface, and the cam includes a flange extending from an outer surface. The collar and the cam are slipped together to prevent separation; however, the collar and the cam are able to rotate relative to one another. The collar, when fastened to the upper container shell, captures the dice collector. The cam, when fastened to the lower container shell, captures the platform. Rotation of the upper container shell in a first direction, when the lower container shell is held stationary, causes the cam to move the platform to enlarge the dice chamber. When the chamber is enlarged, the dice are able to be randomly oriented when the apparatus is shaken. When the upper container shell is rotated in a reverse direction, the cam moves the platform to contract the interior chamber. When the chamber is contracted, the dice are confined in a four by four array and a timer is activated for three minutes. The object of the game is for each player to find as many three and four letter words as possible (but not found by any other player) formed by adjoining dice before the three minutes expire. A point system determines the winner.06-17-2010

20090215359SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING AND SIZING BRASSIERES - A non-customized standard array of brassieres generated from a grading array including a number of differently-sized bands that each defines an arc. The grading array defines a constant angular band end location across a plurality of band lengths, defines a constant angular cup location for different-sized cups on a single band length as well as for the same or different-sized cups across a plurality of band lengths, and defines a variable bridge distance that varies based on cup size. The non-customized, standard array of brassieres is identifiable by a standard brassiere measuring system where the volume identifier of the cup represents a consistent volume regardless of the band length for which the cup is associated. Further, the standard brassiere measuring system is based on direct body measurements representative of breast volume and underbust circumference.08-27-2009

20090213774METHOD OF DETERMINING NEIGHBOR CELL SELECTION - A mobile terminal selects neighbor cell(s) to use in receiving a broadcast or multicast by deriving an estimate of cell quality for each neighbor cell; comparing the estimated quality with a minimum acceptable quality; and choosing those neighbor cells having the highest quality from the acceptable neighbor cells. The estimate of cell quality is based on a parameter of the difference between a common pilot channel transmit power and a secondary common control physical channel transmit power that is transmitted to the mobile terminal on a multimedia broadcast multicast control channel.08-27-2009

20120172074Method of controlling noise rise in a cell - After a maximum noise rise for a cell is set, a maximum noise rise for each mobile station is allocated within the cell. The actual noise rise from each mobile station within the cell is measured at a base station and signaled to a network. When the cell uses enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH), the contribution to noise rise of E-DCH signaling is determined and received signal code power (RSCP) at the base station is measured. The RSCP measurement is decoded to determine contributions from mobile stations within and outside the cell; contributions from mobile stations within the cell are calculated; and the network is notified of the measured noise rise. In addition a compensation value may be applied to compensate for temperature induced noise.07-05-2012
