20120079457MULTI-PATH BROKERED TEST AUTOMATION EXECUTION - A test case can be run with actions from the test case being executed in multiple execution paths. This can be done with the aid of an action broker. For example, the broker may identify available automation implementations for the actions and use a priority list to select between available automation implementations for executing an action from the test case. The broker may also perform conversions of results of actions for use by implementations executing other actions in different execution paths, as well as passing results between implementations in different execution paths.03-29-2012

20110258600USING A DSL FOR CALLING APIS TO TEST SOFTWARE - A test case is abstracted into a re-useable script or other declarative form that expresses the intent of a task rather that defining how the test will be performed. Tools translate the declarative test into a series of steps corresponding to code that implements the action indicated in the declarative test. The schema for the tests can be dynamic. New forms of test cases can take advantage of new actions so that the library of actions can be extended. Libraries are interchangeable. Test cases can be generated using a state machine. New test cases can be composed dynamically using a state machine to create new test cases.10-20-2011

20100051711REVERSIBLE COOLING FAN FOR VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DIRECTION OF ROTATION - An apparatus for heating a passenger compartment of a vehicle having an engine room defining a ram airflow path, an engine located in the engine room, and a cooling pack located in the ram airflow path for dissipating waste heat generated by the engine is described. The apparatus includes a fan positioned in the ram airflow path, the fan responsive to a control signal to operate in at least two modes relative to the ram airflow path. The apparatus also includes a controller responsive to at least one sensor and configured to generate the control signal to operate the fan in a first mode when the detected one or more operating conditions are in a first state and to operate the fan in a second mode when the detected one or more operating conditions are in a second state.03-04-2010
20100052364VEHICLE COWL BOX STRUCTURE - A vehicle cowl box structure is provided basically with an air inlet, an air outlet, an air passageway and a flow restriction device. The air inlet is arranged to receive outside air. The air outlet is arranged to convey the outside air to a vehicle HVAC system. The air passageway extends between the air inlet and the air outlet to convey the outside air from the air inlet to the air outlet. The flow restriction device is disposed in the air passageway at a point between the air inlet and the air outlet. The flow restriction device is configured and arranged to automatically decrease airflow from the air inlet to the air outlet as the airflow through the air inlet increases.03-04-2010

20090195715FLAT TOP TUNABLE FILTER WITH INTEGRATED DETECTOR - A free space tunable filter produces a passband output as a result of sequential processing by an array of narrowband tunable filters (NBTFs) each tuned to a slIghtly different frequency. The present invention is comprised of one or more stages having multiple interleaved sectors and comprising an array of NBTFs having a masked outer surface reflective coating. Stages cascading is used to increase the device figure of merit and single stages are partitioned into multiple sectors that process a specific interleaved region of the bandwidth. Final stage output group passband signals are combined in a multiplexer and tapped with a partially transparent photodetector.08-06-2009
20110043742CONTAMINATION PREVENTION IN LIQUID CRYSTAL CELLS - A liquid crystal cell is presented that utilizes a deposited metal gasket seal bonding two opposing plates of glass, a thin film spacer layer to accurately control cell gap thickness, and an optional integrated thermal sensor and heater deposition layer sandwiched therebetween. The spacer layer is disposed as a peripheral barrier inside the metal gasket layer in order to prevent ion contamination of the active liquid crystal by the presence of the metal.02-24-2011
