20120005101System and Method for Offering Bulk Products for Sale to Multiple Businesses by Provision Point Mechanism - A method for business-to-business (B2B) provisioning implemented on a computer system. Information is stored for at least one purchase offer concerning an associated product or service. The stored information identifies the associated product or service, a number of current acceptances of the offer made by one or more businesses, and a number of acceptances required for activating an associate purchase order. Upon receipt of a next acceptance of the offer, the computer system operates to update the number of current acceptances, and to determine whether the updated number of current acceptances is greater than or equal to the number of acceptances required for activating the associate purchase order. If a time period for accepting the offer has expired and the updated number of current acceptances is greater than or equal to the number of required acceptances, the computer places an associated order with an associated supplier.01-05-2012

20090025984SINGLE MOLD MILLING PROCESS FOR FABRICATION OF ROTARY BITS TO INCLUDE NECESSARY FEATURES UTILIZED FOR FABRICATION IN SAID PROCESS - A bit mold is milled using a turning stage which forms a base mold component and a base gagering component. Next, a blade milling stage is performed in which the base mold component and base gagering component are milled to define integral junkslot formers separated by blade regions. Lastly, a pocket milling stage is performed in which the blade regions and integral junkslot formers of the base mold component are milled to define a plurality of cutter pockets in primary and perhaps secondary rows. Each cutter pocket includes a seat portion and a face portion. The milling of the pocket milling stage provides, at one or more of the cutter pockets, a facet. This facet is provided in an area about the junkslot former associated with the face portion of the cutter pocket, the face portion having, due to the presence of the facet, a surface for matching a cutter core displacement end surface without voids of a size which would require the use of fill material. The facet is also provided on either side of the pocket associated with the seat portion to avoid the need to clay the sides of the displacement for providing top-loading clearances. The milling process at the pocket milling stage further supports definition of relief and erosion resistance features in the mold.01-29-2009

20080231640Animation Retargeting - Systems and methods are described, which create a mapping from a space of a source object (e.g., source facial expressions) to a space of a target object (e.g., target facial expressions). In certain implementations, the mapping is learned based a training set composed of corresponding shapes (e.g. facial expressions) in each space. The user can create the training set by selecting expressions from, for example, captured source performance data, and by sculpting corresponding target expressions. Additional target shapes (e.g., target facial expressions) can be interpolated and extrapolated from the shapes in the training set to generate corresponding shapes for potential source shapes (e.g., facial expressions).09-25-2008

Each of the first and second transformations represents an influence on a location of the point of respective first and second joints associated with the item. The method includes determining an axis for a cylindrical coordinate system using the first and second transformations. The method includes performing an interpolation of the first and second transformation points in the cylindrical coordinate system to obtain an interpolated point. The method includes recording the interpolated point in a surface representation of the item in the animation process.12-04-2008

20110269390CONFIGURABLE PLIABLE AIR DUCTS - In some example pliable air duct systems, inflatable ducts of various diameters and lengths are created by selectively assembling pre-existing stock pieces in different combinations. In some examples, the stock pieces include disconnectable longitudinal joints and disconnectable circumferential joints, wherein the longitudinal joints enable interconnecting multiple stock pieces to achieve a desired tube diameter, and the circumferential joints allow connecting multiple tube segments end-to-end to produce an air duct assembly of a desired length. To control the volume and/or the direction of air discharged from the duct, the duct assembly, in some examples, includes an adjustable register comprising a movable pliable sheet that overlies a discharge opening in a pliable sidewall of the duct. In some examples, the inflatable duct includes one or more cutout patterns on the duct's sidewall to provide guidance in creating a sidewall discharge opening of a proper size and location.11-03-2011
20120010752METHODS AND APPARATUS TO DETERMINE AIR DUCT SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS - Example methods, apparatus, and articles of manufacture to determine pliable air duct configurations are disclosed. A disclosed example method involves determining a first quantity of adjustable air outlet duct sections to configure an air delivery duct system when an operating mode identifier is received. The operating mode identifier is associated with an amount of air delivered by the air delivery duct system into targeted areas. The first quantity of adjustable air outlet duct sections is based on an airflow rate value and the operating mode identifier. The airflow rate value is indicative of airflow through an air delivery duct system.
