20090012823Configuring Office-Specific Security Parameters Using Office Profiles - In general, techniques for configuring blacklist handling via regional profiles of reservation and departure control system (RDCS) are described herein. More specifically, a RDCS is disclosed for use in creating operational profiles. A global profile may be dynamically defined to determine operational aspects of a transportation carrier that are common to all office of that carrier. Office profiles are dynamically defined to determine operational aspects that are specific to that office location. In this manner, the operation of each office may be tailored to the specific location. Moreover, the operational aspects are not “hard-coded”, but instead are readily selectable by an authorized end user. According to one aspect, local management of blacklists is supported by the profiles.01-08-2009

20100054731METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR THE HIERARCHICAL MESH RESTORATION OF CONNECTIONS IN AN AUTOMATICALLY SWITCHED OPTICAL NETWORK - The present disclosure describes methods and systems for the hierarchical mesh restoration of connections in an ASON or the like. These methods and systems provide a mesh restorable OTN server layer that carries an aggregate of mesh restorable SONET/SDH SNCs, without designating SONET/SDH/OTN hand-off ports or work/protect lines. Server layer SNCs are terminated on Virtual Trail Termination Points (VTTPs) on the NEs. These VTTPs maintain all of the attributes of physical Trail Termination Points (TTPs). The server routing protocol creates physical TTP interfaces at the server layer, and the server layer advertises bandwidth to the client layer routing protocol. A failure in the server layer results in the mesh restoration of an aggregate line, holding off the release of the individual client SNCs. Only when the server layer cannot restore are these individual client SNCs released.03-04-2010

20120029898MULTI-CORE, MULTI-BLADE, AND MULTI-NODE NETWORK ENVIRONMENT SIMULATION - The present disclosure provides systems and methods for a simulation environment that simulates hardware at a fiber level, a data plane level, a card level, and a chassis level. The simulation environment may be utilized in development and testing of complex, real time, embedded software systems, such as, for example, routers, switches, access devices, base stations, optical switches, optical add/drop multiplexers, Ethernet switches, and the like. In an exemplary embodiment, the simulation environment operates on one or more workstations utilizing a virtual machine to operate a virtualized module, line card, line blade, etc. Further, a plurality of virtual machines may operate together to operate a virtualized chassis forming a network element and with a plurality of virtualized chassis forming a network. Advantageously, the present invention provides state of the art data plane traffic and control plane simulation that reduces development time and cost while increasing design flexibility.02-02-2012

20090202240SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PARALLEL MULTI-CORE CONTROL PLANE PROCESSING - The present invention provides systems and methods for parallel multi-core control plane processing with optical networks. This enables optical switches utilizing control planes, such as G.ASON, to meet scalability and performance requirements of evolving networks. The multi-core processing is configured to handle call control for sub-network connections (SNCs) (e.g., requests for creates, failures, restores, routing). Additional control plane functions, such as signaling and related interfaces, routing connection admission control (CAC), naming and addressing, and the like, can also be processed in parallel.08-13-2009

20080216454Horse blanket - A blanket for covering a four-legged, tailed animal includes a main panel configured for draping over the animal's back and defining a rear edge adjacent the animal's tail. The blanket also provides a chest panel connected to and underlying the main panel and configured to be wrapped around the animal's chest and neck. The chest panel includes a pair of expansion gussets for enhancement of the flexibility and fit of the chest panel about the animal's chest and neck. Finally, the blanket provides an elastically biased tail flap attached to the underside of and extending downward from the rear edge of the main panel.09-11-2008
20080272107Table Heater Heat Distribution Cone - In one embodiment the instant invention combines a table and a heater in one product having a deflector cone under the table top. This embodiment resembles a small table with a table top surface and combines the usable table top surface with a heating element, which may use propane as a fuel source. There may be one or more deflector cones stacked on each other, and they may be made from heat-reflecting material.11-06-2008
20080272108Bistro Table Heater Combination with 360 Degree Heat Source - In one embodiment the instant invention combines a table and a heater in one device. The heater allows heat to escape laterally beneath the table to warm the lower extremities of a user. The heater may use propane as a fuel source, and the fuel source may be self-contained and mountable adjacent to the heater. The device may be mounted on wheels so as to be portable. The table may have several deflectors below it and above the heater so that the table does not get hot.11-06-2008
20080272109Bistro Table Heater with Heat Guard Rail - In one embodiment the instant invention combines a table and a heater in one device. The heater contains a heating element, which may use propane as a fuel source. The fuel source of the invention may be self-contained so that the heater is portable. The table may have several deflectors below and above the heater it so that the table does not get hot. The invention may also have a heat guard rail attached to the table and extending away from the table to guard against users inadvertently touching the heating area of the invention.11-06-2008
20080285258Gas Light-Post Heater - In one embodiment the instant invention combines a post having a light at its top and a heater in its middle. In one embodiment, the post has a cabinet below the heater. The cabinet may contain the fuel source of the invention so that the heater may be easily portable. In one embodiment, a wind shield protects the heater so that the heat source will not be extinguished. In one embodiment, the light and the heater have separate controls and are separately operable.11-20-2008
