| 20090280897 | Method and Apparatus for Producing Interactive Video Content - A method and apparatus for generating interactive video content. In one embodiment, the method includes the steps of providing a first video content; providing a set of directions on a monitor in response to the first video content; video capturing a user-actor following the directions; embedding the captured video in the first video content to form a combined video content; and displaying the combined content. In one embodiment, the system includes a first video scene content; a video monitor providing acting instructions and dialog in response to the first video scene content; video capture means for video capturing a game player following the acting instructions and performing the dialog; video editing means for embedding the captured video in the first video content to form a combined video content; and a display for displaying the combined video content. | 11-12-2009 |

| 20100038481 | Systems and Methods for Recovering an Airship - An airship recovery system is disclosed including a first cushion pad configured to create a suction force on an outer portion of the airship to capture the airship during landing. An arm is coupled to the first cushion pad and movable between at least two different vertical positions. In an embodiment the air is movable in multiple degrees of freedom. An actuator device is coupled to move the arm. A sensor device is incorporated to detect the location of the airship relative to the recovery system. A controller is utilized to receive signals from the sensor device regarding the location of the airship and output command signals to the actuator to move the arm and the first cushion pad toward a desired contact location on the airship. | 02-18-2010 |

| 20110009351 | SCREENING ASSAY TO IDENTIFY CORRECTORS OF PROTEIN TRAFFICKING DEFECTS - The present invention relates to a novel assay or screen for identifying compounds with potential therapeutic value for the treatment of protein trafficking diseases such as Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and nephrogenic diabetes insipidus (NDI). The usual approach involves expressing the mutant form of the gene in cells and assaying function in a multiwell format when cells are exposed to libraries of compounds. Although such functional assays are useful, they do not directly test the ability of a compound to correct defective trafficking of the protein. To address this a novel corrector screening assay for CF has been developed in which the appearance of the mutant protein at the cell surface is measured as the assay output. This assay was used to screen more than 3100 compounds. This novel screening approach to protein trafficking diseases is robust and general, and may enable the selection of molecules that can be translated rapidly to a clinical setting. | 01-13-2011 |
