20100150134METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING REPEAT CALLING - A method and apparatus for providing a repeat calling service feature in a communication network are disclosed. For example, the method captures call session information between a calling endpoint and a called endpoint of a failed call due to an unavailability of required network resource. The method then receives a repeat calling service request from the calling endpoint, and processes the repeat calling service request to reestablish a call between the calling endpoint and the called endpoint.06-17-2010

20110258282OPTIMIZED UTILIZATION OF DMA BUFFERS FOR INCOMING DATA PACKETS IN A NETWORK PROTOCOL - A method, system and computer program product for facilitating network data packet management. In one embodiment, a controller is configured to receive data packets. Incoming data packets are stored in DMA mapped packet buffers. A time stamp is associated with the packet buffers. When the associated time stamp exceeds a defined threshold, the controller is configured to copy the packet buffers stored in DMA memory to non-DMA memory. Once copied, the DMA memory previously used to store the packet buffers is available to receive new data packets. The controller is configured to continue copying aged packet buffers to non-DMA memory until an unallocated amount DMA memory is reached.10-20-2011
20120093170Direct Memory Access Memory Management - A method, computer program product, and apparatus for managing data packets are presented. A data packet in the data packets is stored in a first portion of a memory in response to receiving the data packet at a device. The first portion of the memory is allocated to the device. A determination is made whether a size of the data packet is less than a threshold size. The data packet is copied from the first portion of the memory allocated to the device to a second portion of the memory in response to a determination that the size of the data packet stored in the memory is less than the threshold size.04-19-2012

20110267422MULTI-PARTICIPANT AUDIO/VIDEO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM WITH PARTICIPANT ROLE INDICATOR - An audio/video communication system displays the status of participants in a video chat session. The system includes multiple video chat capable (VCC) information handling systems (IHSs) that display video images of the participants. In this manner, each user may see the user's own video image as well as the video images of other users in the video chat session. When a user speaks, that user's VCC IHS detects audio, thus designating a speaker participant. This user's VCC IHS includes a gaze direction detector that determines at which particular user video image the user gazes, thus determining a target participant. The VCC IHS sends speaker participant ID information and target participant ID information to other VCC IHSs in the video chat session. In response, the other VCC IHSs display an indicator that designates one user video image as the speaker participant and another user video image as the target participant.11-03-2011

20110223549Laminar Flow Combustion System and Method for Enhancing Combustion Efficiency - A high efficiency laminar flow burner system for proving a stream of heat energy including a supply input module for providing fuel and laminar streams of air to a combustion manifold. The combustion manifold includes an air-fuel mixing system, a stoichiometric unit, and a refractory unit each coupled to one another. A first combustion stream is established at the air-fuel mixing chamber system as fuel exits an injector device at direction perpendicular to the laminar air intake stream. A laminar air intake stream traveling from the supply input module and along the staging passageway passes through a stoichiometric unit body at a plurality of air intakes to meet with the first combustion stream within to define a second combustion stream for introduction from the stoichiometric unit to the refractory unit. The refractory unit thus defines a third combustion stream as the second combustion stream travels across a refractory passageway.09-15-2011
